curiouscat, 10 Jul 2021may I ask why do u prefer IPS over Amoled? just wanna know ... moreHello again, I prefer IPS(high quality ones) over Amoled due to my job as a videographer. I like the white balance of IPS over Amoled, I admit that Amoled is so much pleasing to the eyes of the consumer due to the contrast they deliver but I feel like some colors get over saturated and look a bit unnatural to me. I haven't had any phone with Amoled display in recent years to tell if they got better or not. the last samsung phone I had after using it for a year I had burn in issue which really sucked after that I switched to Iphone, gotta say the Retina display was so much superior in terms of color accuracy. I know Xiaomi uses cheap IPS panels on their budget phones but i'm on a tight budget too.

Is this phone good for gaming?

Ruriko, 10 Jul 2021Does this phone have liquid cooling? cause I'm hardcor... moreIt has good heat dissipation but no liquid cooling. The snapdragon 860 is great for games and awesome at keeping cool and a low battery drain. You'll be fine, the battery gets damaged over time only if above 50C. Another comment over here said the phone never goes above 46C.

Oled doesn't burn until few years of using with current tech and if you are not 100% brightness on main menu 24/7. I love oled despite it's downside cause the contrast that is superior by a lot over ips, and the fact you can use it as ebook while not burning your eyes.

Has anyone tried using custom ROM with their Poco X3 Pro? And if yes, what ROM are you using and how was the performance in terms of gaming and daily use. Pros and cons of the custom ROM you're using. Thanks

curiouscat, 10 Jul 2021may I ask why do u prefer IPS over Amoled? just wanna know ... moreIt's because of the oled burn. There's no denying oled is punchier and has better contrast ratio. But if you got burn in for using it too much it renders it useless

V3S, 03 Jul 2021Hello everyone, I'm planning to buy this phone, but so... moreIf you don't do anything while charging, battery temperature reached 35-37 Celsius degrees, of course, depends on the room temperature condition.
I'm not a gamer, I use the phone for normal activities, like browsing, messaging, email's.
In these conditions, never see any problem reported by other user's here, gaming user's. The phone never get hot, CPU temperature fluctuate between 32-38 Celsius degrees.
Never faced touch issues. My display manufacturer is Huaxing, which seems to have more fiability from why I've heard.
So, if you're not a gamer (like me), my suggestion is go and buy it, you will never regret.

Tecno is a very useless brand who can compare their useless overpriced 228,000 compare to this phone 101,000 naira with 7nm compared to 12nm no software update this international brand bring your product to Africa tecno is scamming us

wicca, 08 Jul 2021if you are a gamer you will have a pc or nintendo switch if... moreActually, you can play ps2 games, psp, gamecube, wii, Nintendo 3DS and even NINTENDO SWITCH games on Android THANKS TO EMULATORS. I'm sure you haven't heard of Android emulators before. They require a very powerful phone in order to play most of the games especially ps2 games and Nintendo switch games. There are more emulators that may come in the future.
So I agree with you that 99% of play store games are nothing but trash. Except a few games like Genshin impact and PUBG . Why not buy a PC or a switch? Because switch games are no fun. There are some few amazing games but most of them are 2d boring games. Besides there's a Nintendo switch emulator available and another one in development.
As for the PC. I'm a busy person so I don't want to waste much time on a PC besides I like the phone because it's small and portable. I'm gonna buy a ps4/ps5 soon btw.
This phone is very cheap and perfect for Android emulators.

Here's the issues I faced so far after using this phone for a month
                        1. There's something wrong with the light sensor, the screen tends to get dim on its own while I'm in good light. This occurs randomly. This makes me increase the light manually.
                        2. The phone heats very often. The temperature of the battery reaches 38 while I'm using 120 hz and browsing and 40°c while charging. Sometimes it reaches 42°c while charging. it reaches 43°c while video chatting. And it reaches around 45-46°c while playing very heavy games but never exceeds 46°c
                        3. There are some frame drops that happens when you swipe up to the home screen if you use a live wallpaper. But I guess that's not a big issue. The first 2 are though.

Tenzi sherpa, 08 Jul 2021I strongly not recommend anyone to but this phone😡 Too muc... morefacing same problem after 2 days buying.

I have also heating issue with this phone especially when playing games and opening social medias and others but then I figured out a solution by watching YouTube video and it works, just go to settings, then type game turbo and click game turbo again then click the plus sign and add all everything you want even if it's not a game then beside the plus sign there is also another setting click that and go to performance mode and performance optimization and enable all then try opening all added apps in game turbo one by one you will see a real change in your phones temperature and also improves battery life while in battery saving mode and run at 120 refresh Hertz..Hope this will help..Try helping others to by sending this...Good gaming budget phone..

Does this phone have liquid cooling? cause I'm hardcore gamer so I leave phone on all day so I need some kind of cooling system so battery doesn't degrade fast from heat
