Anonymous, 04 Oct 2021Well, there is another possibility, which is Xiaomi didn�... moreexactly how can company spam that much of phones and you expect a good software support that ain't gonna happen but lucky enough most people that i know at least who bought xiaomi will never do it again they lost a lot of people's trust some people argue that the company selling so much in europe and india and africa but again people learn .. they basically got tricked by the marketing and the specs that they couldn't enjoy because of the software and the poor cooling .. and they won't buy again and will spread their experience which will equal to company's loss maybe then they wake up and change their strategy

2 months in using X3 Pro here are my thoughts:
-Don't use 120hz, Only 60hz since day 1
-No ghost touch or touch issues
-8/256 MIUI 12.0.3 Global (Haven't updated to 12.5 or 12.0.8), Hauxing Display or LCD and NVT-ts LCM/Digitizer
-Bought It brand new, not second hand
-Heating issues; I've been only using 18w charger from my mi 9t since x3 pro heats up fast on 33w, same cable and works fine 18w 1hr 30m 32⁰c compared to 33w 1hr 10m 36⁰c both 20% to 100%
-Heating issue 2; Phone heats up fast when gaming, video call and watching videos on any resolution, I think the reason for this is codec and resolution rendering but on regular web browsing its normal temps. Just keep the battery temp below 40⁰c and cpu below 55⁰c
-Battery life, Solid but drains preety quicky when very warm so I advice to use it in front of a electric fan or AC, Take a break every 30 minutes and cool down the phone for 15 minutes, I let my phone cooldown around 28⁰c to 30⁰c. Also charge infront of a AC or Electric Fan to minimize heat since I can't afford attachable phone fan cooler and also remove case.
-MIUI Bug; Optimization is mediocore, I update all apps except for the webview. UI same, UX is meh. Some times I won't receive notifications. No touch issue, Stock software and kernel, No root, Haven't turned off MIUI optimization

I have use 5 months and while playing genshin impact after 45 minutes it's screen got white and fully dead now it's in service centre... that morning I changed to 120 Hz..pray for me

Alex, 02 Oct 2021The 120hz refresh rate seems useless even after the miui 12... more120 hz is probably too much for this phone. 90 hz is a sweet spot. You can't set 90hz directly from settings. But there's an app that can make it happen. I did it on my cousin's phone but now I can't remember the app's name. Search on google and xda, you may find it. My cousin's phone was working smoothly without any noticeable lag after the refresh rate was set to 90hz.

As you can see, Xiaomi is spamming a lot of models within months. With so many models are still eligible for new updates, imagine how can Xiaomi divide its resources and properly developed new updates.

Since it's a new update,there might be some few changes in app optimization and developers have to reoptimized the app. Actually this sometimes occur when the app received new update so that mean it's just optimization.
