buying this phone, is almost the same thing when u buy redmi note 11 pro 5G. believe it or not, when u realize, u'll gonna regret it.

The phone works well enough for its price point. Its processing power and graphics is a direct upgrade to the redmi note 10 pro but not by much yet worse than the Poco X3 pro it was supposed to succeed. Its camera is one of the worst out there but its serviceable. The Underpowered but more efficient specs also mean that the phone won't get as hot as its competitors.
Get the Poco F3 instead if you want an overall better phone for a small price difference.
The main problem that caused so much controversy is the name. They should just remove the "PRO" in the name as It broke off from being a flagship killer and instead became a budget phone with mid-range performance that targets different people entirely.

Just get the Redmi Note 10 Pro, like the others said below. It has a better camera, like 5 Mp macro with auto-focus, Better image processing and GPU performance, plus lower price. Ensure you get the China/Global ver, not the Indian made one. The other handset you may want to consider is the Redmi Note-11 Pro 5G which comes with the same CPU and similar camera setup, as this, but at a lower price tag.
and ppl wonder why the Poco F3 is so expensive now, when it was released last year!

Xiaomi's sequels to last year's best have noticeable downgrades this year... Poco X4 Pro has lost the flagship chipset, Redmi Note 11 Pro uses an inefficient fabrication chipset (12nm)... While Xiaomi 12 series have total zero IP rating...
Only some would considered still as great as last year's, like Poco X4 GT, Poco F4, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Xiaomi 12S/Tseries...
These devices have help Xiaomi to still remain in the game, in my opinion.

Last year (2021) was definitely Xiaomi's best year, even better than 2020 i would says...
With the released of Poco X3 Pro, Poco F3, Poco M3, Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Xiaomi 11T, Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra...
You can see from all these models released, they covered from budget entry, midrange, and up to the flagship's level. Very often they're also truely competitive, arguably the best equipped out of the respective classes.
However, the sequels of all above mentioned models have kinda disappointed with each of their own ways...
It's better if they instead named this device Poco X4 5G... That would be more appropriate to its specs compare to X3 series.

What to get? Actually I'm leaning with Redmi Note 10 Pro with its good spec but the usual issues of front camera breaking (that needs CPU Reball) after updating to Miui 13 is a big downer. Not sure if this is just an isolated one for Redmi Note 10 Pros that have a manufacturing date of 2021.
I just want a balance phone with a good amoled display, and decent gaming performance plus not really into Cameras and 5g is really not a priority. Poco X4 Pro 5g downer is that it doesn't have HDR, it's video playback is only capped at 1080p specifically speaking in Youtube App or video streaming, L3 on Netflix not sure if it is L1 already.

Is it true that the max video resolution that you can play in youtube app is just 1080p 60fps because of the hardware limitation that 695 chip had? As well is the widevine still on L3?
I'm thinking of getting this rather than the Redmi Note 10 Pro, I don't know if it's a good choice.

What are you talking about? The poco x4 pro 5g has much better screen(amoled vs ips) , better audio (hi-res) , better battery life (5000 mha) and in Geekbench show a more powerful procesor by far. The poco x4 is even better for photos with a 128 mp camera. The only thing is true is the poor video camera, cuase only work at 1080.To fix this you can download the gcam. .

The updated model for the X3 NFC that I own and this was due to replace, seems to be a retrograde step.
Whilst happy with the brand before, think I will look elsewhere now.
