The Poco X3 Pro didn't even reach 300 in price, the max variant was around $280~290. The Poco X5 Pro has now released officially and it's max variant is around $346

Go cry about it. For normal usage this phone is infinite times better than x3 pro

Have been trying to buy one of these, when are they getting a UK release because they're not available on the Xiaomi UK website, it just gives you an option to add your email address so they can tell you when they're available.

I think external storage slot doesnt make too much of a different if it does support it. If you want to buy a phone with no external storage, then iphone is the best choices, it is my own humble opinion, though. Cloud storage is not secure, it is not ready yet. Hackers can get in between the connection. I think manufacturer should develop new external storage that can transfer files faster than micro sd. And benefit from the sales instead of cloud storage, it is a hassle to upload, and download data from cloud, not to mention the subscription charges for the cloud services itself, and the telco service provider data charges. During global economy problem from covid aftermath. Maybe 10-15 years later. Maybeeeeee.

So hard to find a midranger or even a flagship smartphone with external microsd support. I know it will make your phone slower but shouldnt manufacturer give us the choices to use the external storage slot?

A52s has a better camera, charging too fast can degrade the battery faster and endurance is just about the same. The design on the A52s is simpler as well.
Also most of the specs there are better than the X5 Pro's and does not become a 'flip phone'.
Finally, Samsung A52s and Poco X5 Pro have the same software support. With 1 year of android updates each after upgrading to android 13.
