69GigawattCharging, 30 Jan 2023Its bad considering it gets outperformed by the 2 year old ... moreBruh bruh stop, I assume you are not familiar with the on going economy and phone market. How can you say its barely an upgrade? Do you use your phone without the display to not see the upgrade? 💀💀
I m pretty sure yesteryear was more of an downgrade because of 695, but they are using 778g this time. It includes 5g.

NeonHD, 30 Jan 2023it's not 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 bad....Its bad considering it gets outperformed by the 2 year old X3 Pro while barely having improvements in other areas considering the generational gap. The 108mp camera is nothing special anymore in the midrange segment while also considering that the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has an OIS-enabled 200mp camera vs this poop phone's unstabilized 108 lol. Screen aint special when Redmi and Xiaomi can also offer 120Hz Amoled with roughly the same specs.
What if you want a gaming phone for cheap? Well too bad, this thing gets eaten alive by its sibling X4 GT and F4 at nearly the same price while having a Dimensity 8100 and SD870.
Thats the problem, this phone has NO IDENTITY, Xiaomi who owns POCO releases Redmi phones which provides better camera and screens. POCO itself also provides better gaming phones for the same price. This thing is just poop

Another POCO phone that is still inferior in performance to the older X3 Pro. This poop phone is just a Redmi Note wannabe with a midrange chip + decent cameras.

DISAPPOINTING processor, the last one GOOD model from Poco X series was the X3 Pro that was a very good phone, even with many motherboards flawed from factory bricking phones all over the world an issue Xiaomi-Poco slide under tha carpet. X4 Pro was garbage and now this X5 Pro it's kinda-meh hopefully the X5 GT lives up the performance of the X4 GT but with an AMOLED display.

but generally, and in other devices, while consuming less or equivalent power, the 8+ barely loses more than 10% of its peak performance over 30 minutes of pushing it in stress testing.

How do you put a stronger processor on a phone that has two years from now, and put a new one in your phone with a processor that is weaker than the Poco x3 Pro processor? We are now in 2023. put a processor stornger than snapdragon 860 in poco x5 pro

AnonD-454049, 28 Jan 2023you are a joke, obviously you cannot tell the difference be... moreNot really true. There's a very limited set of AAA titles that won't run even on high settings at 60fps without lag on midrange processorrs. If you're using call of duty or something on a snapdragon 888 even, you won't be using even 50 percent of the throughput of the CPU and GPU. Most people get phones with the latest snapdragon chipset and think it's going to give them exponentially better performance than a midrange chipset but it's not the case at all. Even genshin impact will run fine on medium settings on a snapdragon 730G and that's a midrange chipset. I don't think you know what you're talking about.

Even though sd778g looks better in benchmarks compare to sd860 in X3 pro. In real world when using side by side X3 pro totally annihilates every phone with sd778g. It is an upgrade from last year's X4 pro in terms of performance but not on X3 pro's level.

Unknow, 27 Jan 2023There's already a Poco F4 that already uses Snapdragon 870Yes, but that one loses it by not having microSD card and headphone jack. Yes, I'm "archaic" and I want "archaic" features no matter what others may say.
