Hi,
Is the OS upgraded to HyperOS? Does it feel different than MIUI? One of my friends have been using MI phone only and want to shift to this one, so wants different UI.
Any other alternatives you can suggest in same price range (INR 16k).

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2024Poco X6 5G or Poco M6 Pro 4G? is it worth the upgrade? poco x6 are 5G and options 12GB memory it's a bit faster than x5 5G M6 this is undergraded only 4G

I have been using this phone for a while. Other than the battery issue, I dont have faced any issue by the phone. Battery lasts for about 8-10 hours.
I have been gaming using phones max potential, but there is no fps drop even at 15-20 percent of charge.

Poco x6 5G in terms of camera had a 4K quality but the Poco M6 Pro is limited to 1080p, the poco x6 and the Poco M6 Pro gets tie in terms of Memory and performance but Snapdragon 7s gen 2 is better, the battery is slightly better in the Poco m6 Pro than poco x6

Since I started doing it I only loose about just 2% or 3% the whole night till morning. I use the 8gb ram. One thing I know about the phone is unlike Redmi phones I've used, Xiaomi made this phone not to kill apps in the background. So you loosing 15% of battery are the background apps that were running throughout the night.

Do you guys have same problem with battery? Battery drain is ridiculously bad, in idle I am losing over 15% overnight, also screen on time barely reaching 4 hours in full battery.

I just want to share. Never update your miui to xiaomi hyperOS.
Very Ugly control centre. After update cant change back, now i think i need to sell my pocox6 then buy a new stock 1.

Bhavesh , 20 Aug 2024Hey guys, I am planning to buy this poco x6 (12gb, 512gb)..... moreit's good, I got 8/256. everything is good. camera is great and imo better than x6 pro.
I can run genshin at 45-60 fps on low medium but it heats up battery to 40-42c after a bit. lol and codm I can run with 36c on battery clear 60fps.
I don think 12gb ram is needed. I'd rather have 8/512 if I could, cause no SD slot. but I have 70gb music and 115gb games right now. you can easily play a game and have popup video player in the corner and be on discord at the same time on 8gb. I never went past 6gb I think on usage.
also always disable memory extension, it kills performance. this phone has zram enabled anyway.
and it's cheaper on aliexpress, I got 8/256 for 180€ on sale. can be scary to buy there for some people though so be careful.
