They could have at least upgraded the 8mp ultrawide to a 12mp one.

Gino76ph, 09 Feb 2025I don't like "brute force" as i do not do hi... moreIf you still want a midrage phone for mid-level gaming and a more casual use, there are other options out there, but i mean you could opt for this if you probably wanna save some bucks for later phones.
If you dont really want performance, go for the classic X7, has same-ish specs and a slightly worse chip. Don't like that? Go for the F6 or the Pro.
Don't like Xiaomi? Go for something like A55 or maybe you could find an S23 out there for cheap, but i know you probably dont like it used.
Don't want samsung? There are some BBK phones you might pick like the Reno13 series or maybe the V40.
Considering you said "better than the last year's flagship" i guess wait for the F7 series or get the V40 Pro. I recommend scouting around phones here on GSMA.

ZombieArcade, 08 Feb 2025Absolutely yes, althought the ultra wide camera is not good. Not good with respect to their specs? or just poor hardware / optimisations?

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2025Because pocos are known for brute performance I don't like "brute force" as i do not do high-intensive tasks such as mobile gaming, gambling, streaming, vlogging, etc.
What i need is a more balanced phone better than last year's flagships or premium midrange but delivering at an affordabale price point.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2025It's me again, you see, here in Malaysia it costs like... moreConsidering the Note 14 Pro+ is just a rebranded Poco X7, youre quite better off with this instead. Same camera specs, a big jump in chipsets and UFS 4.0, if you want a faster storage, also, HyperOS 2 and not the first one. I recommend doing a comparison with the global Note 14 Pro+, the chinese version, the Poco X7 and this.

Is the X7 Pro a good option even if I'm not going to play much? I don't care much about the camera since it's pretty decent. I was considering the A55 or the Redmi Note 14 Pro

I bought this phone for around RM 1200 and btw it's the pro model not just the base redmi note 10. As far as I'm concerned, the camera performance can be fixed a little bit using gcam so I think upgrading to this is actually not that bad. Or maybe I should go for the redmi note 14 pro+?. Gosh there's so many options it confuses me.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2025Coming from redmi note 10. Is this worth getting?Yeah, definitely. I mean you get a great cam looking at the specs, a near-flagship level chip, 6000mah, all in the price of about 400 bucks. Quite a stepup from the redmi note 10.

MisterTrueRomance, 03 Feb 2025F6 Pro, no discussion.X7 pro no discussion, longer support android 15 out of a box, camera is same shit, x7 pro is at least 100 EUR cheaper for same storage memory combo. Battery life is much better on x7 pro, except proximity sensor (virtual works flawless on x7pro) is basically same device.. Go F7 pro at least and forget F6 series.

AnonD-1187531, 12 Jan 2025The X8 pro beats the OP13 hands down. Even the ordinary X8.I'm sorry, WHAT!? How could pocos midrange beat a literal flagship? Plus, you havent even seen most of the X8s yet.

Having had a 12 Lite, Redmi 10 Pro and Galaxy A34 in the past and now having a Moto G84 since last year I'm looking to upgrade
Is the Poco X7 Pro a "worthy" upgrade over those phone i mentioned in terms of battery life, better day-to-day performance (not so much w/ benchmarks) and better main, ultrawide and selfie cameras?
Or would you recommend something else? (not looking for a ore expensive or bigger device)

Rylix, 07 Feb 2025I got this phone two days ago. I'm playing Honkai Star... moreYou can get a cooler for it. The game that heats the most of the Poco X6 series imo is that game you played. I guess, it's expected on Poco X7 series as well. I used a cooler for it HSR all high and the temp no longer heats up so much.
