I AM AMAZING, 14 Jan 2025This "app support" thing, I just can't under... moreif you try to play old games/niche games or apps then you'd have faced the problem. Another example would be gcam which is, from at least others' anecdotes, far more of a pain on mediatek/exynos chipsets. I've used Exynos before and it missed a lot of settings in games despite having sufficient power back in the day.

For 60-80% of use cases MTK is gonna be perfect and people won't notice any issues at all. I'm just talking about the minority.

I'm using a MediaTek phone, and I've never had an app crash (except I'm out of ram).

Is gmsarena just waiting for the early bird discount to expire before they release their review? When is the review coming out?

I AM AMAZING, 12 Jan 2025The X8 pro beats the OP13 hands down. Even the ordinary X8.ehh the Oneplus has faster charging, a higher res display, a Qualcomm chip that has better app support generally AND an ultrasonic scanner. The only thing the Oppo has going for it for 90% of people is the extra zoom lens which is quite cool btw i love it but not enough of a difference maker i'd say. But the main thing that's actually going to make people want to switch is the video quality/consistency throughout the whole cam setup. The Oppo is mature, like a flagship should be but the Oneplus is cheaper enough to make me think you can ignore the problems.

My main issue with the Oppo is the fact that they have the same sensors as the OP 13, just with an additional 6x on the Find X8 Pro. The processing is phenomenal and all but size still matters and i think they're just saving more for the Find X8 Ultra.

How does it have "hi res wireless" but none of the aptx codecs? AAC can't do 24 bit can it?

s24 fe or this? In my country there is a $230 difference between the two and the camera is not important to me. I think Poco's hardware is better regardless of the price difference, but hardware is not everything. I'm not sure about hyper os

Mike Hunt, 13 Jan 2025Is this a real upgrade on the poco F5. Can someone confirm ... moreHmm, I don't think it is. Sure this has better specs overall but the F5 is still pretty capable. Unless you're having issues with it and wanna upgrade I wouldn't recommend it. And even so, maybe it would be smarter to wait and see what the F7 offers.

Szercop, 13 Jan 2025Dimensity 8400 does support 4k60fps so that part is accurateiirc the dimensity 8100 could also do 4k 60 fps, but my poco x4 gt can't record at 4k 60 fps so it's definitely not because of the chip, i do hope that the x7 pro can actually record at 4k 60 fps though. That would be amazing

                                      Compatibil esim ???

Slightly faster processor, IP 68/69 rating and 6550 mAh battery for India and 90W charging

More or less same Camera and Video Performance

Android 15 and Hyper OS 2 also coming soon for X6 Pro

Not much of an upgrade really for a X6 Pro user from last year
