Despite it has higher-end Chipset still could not feel the premium phone either with build quality and UI interphase, something is missing thats not an X factory particularly for me.. hope you ppl will also feel the same when you handle this phone once in Ur hand for sure... I'm not a hater or paid fan boy to get attention seeking cheers friends even I was using note 4 and still it's my secondary phone even now..

I get it, you've tried Samsung and it works for you, I've never debated otherwise. What I said is you could get much better from other brands which all seem to have this curse on them making them magically breakdown and collapse after some use. I'm kinda getting sick and tired of this

cmon, I have old Lg G pro 2 phone, which also has gorilla glass 3, without screen protector, only in cheap sillicone mask.. I dropped it like100 times on all kinds of surfaces, concrete, asphalt, etc., and the screen is still clear and solid, as a first day I bought it.

4nnr, 03 Sep 2018The gsmreview said build quality is great either plastic or... moreIt is your own decision to buy what you want. I have nothing to say about that.

I don't know about other devices, but as user of Samsung device, I have no issue with all the devices. Samsung is offering a wide range of mid range devices from J series to A series.

My father had a A5 (2016) for last 2.5+ years and it is still working great. He used if for heavy social media, calling, media etc. And it is his first android phone. I am happy to see him happy with android. Many people said it is over priced at that time. But still decided to go for it. It got Nouget upgrade few months back and have no issue. It has everything for a normal to mid heavy user like my father. So, on a short time a premium device may sound costlier compare to Chinese brands, but if you see the life cycle for 2/3 years, probably it is worthy. Same strory with me I still have a On7 Pro. Bought for 10k Indian rupees or less then 200$ about 2.4 years back. I was recommended mi Note 3. But still choose On7 Pro. The Snapdragon 410 is quite doing well. I used it for media, SEO and other learning apps, calling and music. It does what it promises. I don't get Nouget in it like On5, but still happy.

Anyway that is my story. I am not telling you to buy a Samsung galaxy. But saying just try some demo devices (from different brands) on multi brand shop and then choose the one which got the look, features, build quality and satisfaction for you.

(p.s. finally I am thinking to replace my 5 year old Galaxy trend, it was special because I bought with my first animation job salary. But this this time I may try a new brand like Motorola or Lenevo as it will be use as back up device.)

(And last thing I want to say, when I bought my J7 prime about 2 years back, I tried the Balckbery Priv, it felt super premium, the slider was amazing and keyboard was just heavenly. But the cost is about 2 times then the J7 P, which is why I can't bought it.)

Either way I'll have to wait cause it's out of stock from pretty much every store in my place, I wanted to try a Samsung when my Xperia Z1 was still going strong but now when I actually need to switch devices I really don't see Samsung devices as value for money either midrange or flagship and their midrangers are really much inferior to other brands (xiaomi, nokia, huawei and even asus..) in terms of what you're getting for the same amount of money.

4nnr, 03 Sep 2018I haven't done my research on the SAR values but I've seen ... moreIt is wise decision for you to wait and watch for a little time before buying a decision. Because competition is very high and lots of good products are there. I believe a true device should be a complete package and solution rather than a specific part.

                            As for the the F1.

                            1) as I have said reviewer have got the armoured edition to review. And I believe it will be very limited edition and will be cost about same as one plus 6 in the third party sites like eBay.

                            2) as for the glass (not touch digitiser), it is proven from the video that it is very fragile. Though you can use a screen guard and cover for the device, still it will be cracked under the screen guard.

                            3) SAR value is different from country to country. Most of the Chinese smartphone have very high SAR value at least for my country (India), but may be they are acceptable in China as their limit is different. Unless you want the device as 2nd or 3rd device as optional one which will be not carried with you, SAR will be not issue.

Anyway I will say wait for few weeks for more real user experience. May be you can get a better deal like One Plus 6T. Best of luck.
