For Indian customers the phone will be made in India.

Xiaomi and Huawei have quality control and longevity comparable to Samsung and Apple.

this is not just a flagship killer, this is true oneplus killer.. at least in my "low income guy" perspective. i never thinking of buying brand new phone with flagship soc before this.

this is REDMI NOTE 5 PRO with SD845 & SOME LITTLE CHANGES
AND HAVE A VERY FAIR PRICING
for the first time, a company use a flagship chipset in a device with not very good camera & HUGE BATTERY
for whose do not care for camera but they care for others performance of the phone & of course they dont want pay more
i personaly dont care for camera but other performance of the phone its important for me
this is very good cake for me with low price & SD845

Serve the same function even though the famous brand is very likely to last longer, withstand more washing cycles,etc but my point is that looks and brand do matter in our society,that is until we start to boldly go where no man has gone before...not there yet.

The Mi5s is still on Android 7 and the latest stable firmware builds created more problems instead of solving.

Look at the "abandoned" Mi5s,Mi5s Plus and various other Redmi devices from that period.They never bothered to properly upgrade the OS resulting in NOT the best experience to say the least.
This Pocophone F1 "by Xiaomi" could have the same fait or not ..but it's a software lottery when you a buy a Xiaomi phone(sub brand or not), that's all I'm saying.

The price is tempting but considering this is a "by" Xiaomi device that affordable price doesn't come only from using some lower cost materials.
Xiaomi also does a lot of "cutting costs" in the software department(very,very slow OS upgrades if any,bad updates).
As a Mi5s Plus user I experience the software "cutting costs" policy personally.
