                    Liked the phone and been a year im using i see phone hanging and if i switch off and on it take about 60 seconds to get back normal.
                    Camera:Is great but when the weather is cool, why because it heats up and then an error pops that its overheated when trying switch on camera. This is disappointing especially when with family and friends:(
                    I am not into gaming on phone so no comments.

                      Do you have problems with difficulty connecting mobile networks. Because there is an area in the building were It took time for me to connect to internet and went 3g 2g before 4g and sometimes takes longer. I noticed that with other phone brands with lower version of snapdragon they catch the network faster and plays the game smoother. Also comparable when I'm in an open area still slower than the other. Already did all the necessary BTS but I don't know. Anyone who have any idea why?

                        is anyone of you guys having problems with media.extractor that causing battery drain? can you guys help me and it really bothering me because of this

                          It's a wonderful device and the price bracket it was made it fit in was beyond admiration. It truely met all I expected from a device with a fantastic performance, a decent camera, an enduring battery life, a good ips display and a blasting fast face recognition. My phone is more than two years old and is still behaving well.
                          Software was half backed and still is half backed, with miui interface one doesn't notice much differences after any update in basic functionalities. Xiaomi has a terrible habit of doing things in background regardless one gives permission or not. So far am still on miui 10.3.5.0 and has no intentions to upgrade further. However in recent past I have noticed some changes in my device happening itself without my intervention, especially when it comes to unlock pattern. Earlier it was straingt face unlock and whenever I lifted the phone it used to unlock without a second step. Later it got transformed and whenever the phone was picked up it was unlocked but a required to settle up. Now few days back it has further transformed and if my device is locked it cnat be unlocked with the power button and one has to touch finger print scanner. Initially I thought my power key has gone nuts and need replacement but latter found its working normally to put device to rest or trigger Google assistant by a long press. Whatever I know these things can be reverted but my question is why the fuck xiaomi is upgrading my OS and changing without my consent and permission. I feel xiaomi too would face a treatment like huawei if they won't mend the ways properly and honestly.

                              I have said that the 2 GB massive security patch. Not aabout Miui update. It is confirmed that F1 will not get any further Miui update which I think good for me.

                              I am happy with the current Miui and don't want any more updates as it may slow the device or do some other issues. Regards.

I'm still on miui 12.0.3 while my husband's poco X3 just got updated to 12.0.6 so i thought poco f1 wouldn't get any updates again. What is your miui version now?

                                  Update about the very very slow charging of my Poco F1.

                                  I have visited my friend's store and tried different MI and other type C cable and chargers to charge my F1 and it worked normally. I mean my device is OK. Nothing to worry.

                                  So, bought an Original MI Type C cable for 200/- Indian rupees or about 3$.

                                  Now I am happy.

                                  I will use the old cable to move files to my phone from laptop and new one to recharge it.

                                  So, if anyone has same issue, please replace the cable.

                                        OK. Last month, downloaded the massive security patch. No issue at all.

                                        Except very very slow charging by the original adapter and cable.

                                        Frequent connection and disconnection error which is unbearable to me. Happening in both PC and power board.

                                        I tried the adapter with another USB cable on my 5/6 years old Lenovo tab which worked well.

                                        On the other hand, I tried a normal Samsung charger with the original cable and it took about 5/6 hours to get 100% from 50% which is good if you are sleeping.

                                        Anyway today I am going to visit my friends shop and try another MI original adapter and type C cable, if it works, then I will be lucky and happy.

                                        Will post the update soon.
