It's not something to die over, but it's still a mystery as to what's causing it.

Memory extension is not advisable, it slows down the performance of the phone, playing CODM Very High Graphics with memory extension on I got 30 fps below, but with off memory extension I got 44-53 fps, Xiaomi must remove the memory extension option, it's useless.

4- there you'll find an option that says,
Clear cached when device is locked.
5- put it into never ever ever combing back together.

With memory extension, without memory extensions, apps like Kiwi Browser excluded from Battery Optimization, phone set to hidden Performance mode through MIUI Hidden Settings... nothing helps. This is the first time I'm encountering this issue. Another family member has a Redmi Note 11 and it got updated to MIUI 14 and is doing the same thing.

... moreThat sounds very strange, I have the phone and there are options in Settings for SIM1 and SIM2 and my tray has both slots open and available.
Maybe you got sold some "revised" version of the phone, I don't know, either try to return it if you think the product description is deceiving or make-do with it.

Hi guys,
Maybe I'm dumb and am missing something.
i bought a 10C as a cheap replacement for one of my kids, everywhere it states it's dual sim, one of the sim slots in the tray is blanked off and can't take a sim. Phone settings doesn't reflect dual sim settings. Anyone else in South Africa that has the same issue?
My Note 10 Pro sim try fits but the 10C does not recognise the second sim, do I need a different ROM?

After I got Android 13 and MIUI 14, it seems I've encountered several problems:
1. I can't play in background anymore. Before I could play Piped or INVIDIOUS for YouTube through Brave or Kiwi browser in the background and even switch to other apps, now when I lock the phone or switch to another app, playback stops. Even some 3rd party YouTube apps like NewPipe and LibreTube don't seem to work too well with background playback now as they suddenly stop when I lock the phone or switch to another app.
2. For some reason when accessing app properties, such as data/cache/storage, permissions, etc. it doesn't show the data any of the apps are using, it just says no data and it's no longer possible to clean cache. I found out if I install Hidden Settings for MIUI and access app properties from there it works, because it no longer uses MIUI's UI, but instead Android's default UI for this. I was using an app from F-Droid called Cache Cleaner, which would work like the paid CCleaner where it would automatically clean the cache of all apps one after another in sequence, but it no longer works after Android 13 and MIUI 14.
First I thought this was a problem because I didn't do a Factory Reset after the update, but I did that the other day and did not solve anything, it's still like this... It feels like the only good things about Android are gone, almost like getting an iCrap almost feels like it's starting to make sense, because there is no longer difference between it and Android.
Does anyone have those issues or is it just me? I wonder if this a problem with Android 13 or MIUI 14 and Xiaomi brands? What about other phones from different manufacturers with Android 13?

rent free, 08 Aug 2023tf is infinix, sounds like generic unknown bootleg crap brand.Those brands, along with techno, are fairly new to the market and they trying hard to be like xiaomi in terms of marketing, they even sell phones much cheaper than xiaomi. Also they always advertise their phones as "GaMeR" phones in cheap price as it would appeal more to the people with less money. They sell pretty well in small countries such as philippines.
