14.0.3.0.TGEMIXM 28th July has arrived for Malaysia Redmi 10C. Not sure how good the battery endurance is but before I updated, I did some small test. Left the phone at 100% for 11 hours with Kaspersky antivirus and DuckDuckGo VPN turned on only consumed 2% to 3% battery. Gonna check with MIUI 14 tonight.

This has taught me a lesson next time I will ask if the ROM ends with the letters XM if not I'm not touching it.

I just got MIUI14 with Android 13 today, the ROM is 14.0.2.0 TGEEUXM and I did an AnTuTu benchmark, here's the results:

I haven't done a factory reset after the update and I don't plan to, the phone seems just as fast as before. The only noticeable difference for me is that battery life is somewhat better. I usually keep my display brightness at 10-15% at all times, but now after the update I've kept it at 100% for no reason and also while testing, the screen has been on for about 1.5h and I have lost about 5-7% battery charge, on MIUI 13, I would have lost 10-15% battery charge doing the same thing.

I bought this phone with an mtn SIM card but later ported my number to Telkom because data is alot cheaper than mtn . It could be a reason as to why I haven't received more recent software updates or security patches

Besides, this is a budget phone, it's not Xiaomi's priority to release this ASAP, it will happen, after they update most of their better phones first.

No. You can even use 20 inch monitor and the score doesn't change(maybe a little bit but not much). And also sd680 only support up to 1080×2560@90Hz so yeah you can't use 4K display anyway.
Does it reduce the performance? If you're using higher resolution display (from 720p into 1080p), yes. Because it uses more gpu(adreno 610) resources.

AnTuTu scales the score depending on how large the display resolution so no matter what display resolution it uses, the score will remain the same. And yes the sd680 in r10c feel faster because of lower display resolution so it would be way smoother(as long xiaomi didn't mess up with the updates).

cant be a successor if it was a downgrade 😂😂😂
only upgrades is the backdoor design which is pointless since phone cases exist and less prone to internet connection issue.
