Sd680 is equiped with 4 cortex a73 unlike helio g70 to 88 that only used 2 cortex a75 that's why multi core Performance of sd680 is much better
And in long run 680 is an upgrade to 678 that uses samsungs lpp fabrication that reduces performance

The chipset on this phone may sounds like a mid-range one. But because it uses 720p display, the performance is absolute bargain for its price. But don't expect it can run any games.
For the storage, i recommend to pick the 4GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage variant because its more worth it. 3GB of ram is somewhat low for android 11 so pict the 4GB RAM Variant.
The main camera is just fine and yes its 50MP but it does pixel binning. So 50MP divided by 4 is 12.5MP which is fine. The 50MP mode is not so good because it has lots of noise. And the front camera is just like the back camera of samsung galaxy grand neo which is just 5MP, but its fixed & infinity focus.
The battery life was nice, it lasts for 2 days of usage. Unfortunately, the charger that it came with the phone is just 5V/2A(10W) so you have to buy a charger that support Qualcomm Quickcharge (or just buy Xiaomi's 33W charger and make sure its original).
And the display, the color is fine but as some reviews said there's a little bit flicker at lowest brightness but it's not that annoying. The touch is fine but some review said the "delete" and "P" or "0" button (or the right edge side) is not sensitive. But i didn't have such issue at all.
The back cover is not grips well with the hand so its recommended to use a protective case (its even better with the camera cover on it).
The sensor is just proximity, accelerometer, and light sensor(for auto brightness). So if you use an app that requires compass or gyro, just pick another phone. IR Blaster is not available for this model so this phone isn't for someone who needs to use their phone as universal ir remote control.
Speaker is okay but it just mono. The mic is just single mic (on the side of usb type-C port). It has 3.5mm and it has no noise at all, nothing(except if you play audio with lots of noise.
Fingerprint reader is back mounted which is nice for me, but if you're a person who wants a side mounted fingerprint reader, just find another phone or try to get used with it.
Overall, this phone is for someone who needs performance rather than features for less than $150.

Bear in mind it's capped to 720p tho coz this phone only has a 720p screen. It's the same for cod, I play at high and I still get decent fps

Its front camera is only 5MP which is not good.
I have this model three weeks now. It has good internet speed, good battery life,etc.
As you said, this chipset isn't for heavy games but it had average game peformance in low graphic settings.
