These phones look great coming out of China but it is just so difficult to source them in Europe and when you do find them, most of the sellers, the imports taxes make the prices look a lot less impressive than at first glance.

I suppose they had to cut corners somewhere to get what they have put into this phone at this price point and 22.5w is no longer really considered fast with some OnePlus and Vivo handsets supporting 40-50w fast charging.

The thing is fast charging can be really fast or just fast. I have the redmi note 8 pro too. It supports 18w fast charging. It's fast but not really fast. This redmi 10x 5g supports 22.5w fast charging. The two phones have around the same size 4500mah battery. Basically, I suppose it's mid range fast charging. The new vivo iqoo Z1 also has a 4500mah battery as well but supports a mental 44w fast charging. 0-50% in 30 minutes. That's fast. Real fast. What putting that much power into your battery does for the long term life of the battery however is another question. I can't imagine it's good. My redmi note 8 pro takes about 1hr 45 minutes to fully charge but twenty five minutes tops it up around thirty percent

Mediatek has their own implementation of fast charging known as pump express.
On this phone, you get 33W fast charging.

If you know it, just tell the guy that it mostly depends on if the processor can handle that charging specification. This chip obviously can do it, and by the specs of the phone, the brand seems to have delivered it too.

Not for 5 10 years. I think this is a separate category now like the successor for the recently launched redmi 9. And I think redmi note 9s will definitely get a successor soon. Considering the success of 9s, I am already looking forward to redmi note 10
