Battery life is ok
My model only has 4gb ram as no other models available in my country.
Performance isn't great if using multiple apps. Very harsh ram management.
Sound quality is very low, and call/reception quality is not always great.
Camera/video recording is very mediocre.
So so so much bloat apps.
Forgettable device. Nothing unique compared to other phones in same price. Xiaomi put latest budget processor but cut costs in other departments such as sound and camera.

              I bought this phone together with Xiaomi redmi 4 buds for 50e. But I needed ro switch my prepaid number to vodafone. Screen sound and camera is
              better on xiaomi redmi note 5. Screen on redmi 12 5g has yellow background colour compered to note 5.

                Uk model only comes with 4gb ram. No 6gb or 8gb ram model in uk

                Absolute trash phone. Lags all the time. One minute it runs smoothly, then after 10 mins, starts to lag. Have to clear all background apps often.
                Also can't use multiple apps at same time. It keeps switching off my always on ad and tracker blocker, no matter how much I've adjusted the battery and app settings.

                Why give us only 4gb ram???? Is not fair.

                Its so slow and unstable. I've only had for a few days, no way will this last me 1 year. Horrible experience

                        Just for information, this cell phone supports OTG too. Nothing is mentioned in the specifications.
                        Yesterday 1st time i tried & to my surprise Redmi 12 5G supports OTG.

                                        I'm currently using this phone. The camera is mediocre. The only good selling point is it's display. I'd rather buy an old flagship refurbished phone.
