    Well, all the guys receiving 4G signal or just that may be software issue....

    But, guys please check out the accesible data speed....

    Are you getting the 4g speed or it's just a symbol... make it clear guys....




    Well, MI rolled back their miui 7.3.1.0 update from redmi 1s...


    So, now on their official site latest update is...

    Miui 7.2.3.0



    As the Miui 7.3.1.0 has many issues..... Like slow charging speed, Lesser battery backup and Most importantly...

    In this Rom update...

    The changelog was way too suspicious as it asked for Fingerprint sensor....

    So, guys post your views about being able to access 4g

      is it true 4G? confuse me because refer to specs of SoC MSM8228 doesn't support 4g yet.

        In some states airtel,idea, vodafone, n reliance are providing 4G with 1800Mhz frequency, may be our redmi 1s will supports 4g after uprating. if its really works then its a great update bye xiaomi.

                Drake , 20 May 2016Hey MAHN did you have to backup befor downloading update an... moreWell, Drake... it is always good to make a backup... And format everytime after updating phone... As it makes the phone to clear all the cache files of the old rom...

                And, It's always asked to update using fastboot method.... But bro, it's data consuming as for every update, you have to download up to 800 MB files.... If you are using unlimited data pack.... Then, I will suggest to use fastboot method to update to each time

                  No need to keep it....


                  Well, Till date I updated twice the Rom using OTA method as I am fan of updating using Fastboot method... but in both the conditions the update file automatically deleted after update.....


                  So, delete the updated rom, they are of no use anymore..

I had no idea what to do so I left it as it was and didn't reboot my mobile. But after sometime the downloadwd update disappeared and was asking to be downloaded again. And do I have to backup before updating? Will my internal data get cleared after updating system ?

                          There is no such issue bro...... It's just not updated properly ....

                          Better try accessing 4G...

                          Then put your opinion again....


                          If you are not able to access it means your phone is not updated properly and it's on stake of instability....

                            I just got a update notification for my redmi1s its been updated to miui 7.3.1.0 stable version and after updating i am able to get 4G on my network icon. has any one else got this ???

                              Well, For all guys suffering from slow charging issue....


                              Check for different charger.....


                              If it charges fairly fine, then charger was the culprit...


                              Then, change the data cable of original charger......

                              In mine case the data cable is the culprit, Now the cable is not working at all.....

                              Now mine phone is all fine with original charger, Buy a good quality data cable as it helps in reducing charging time( personal experience) Used two different cables and got different charging speeds too

                                Sometimes you might not be able to see the imei no. through codes *#06#, it's just software issue.....


                                Well the problems of music stopping, etc. are just the failure or we call it bugs in the previous versions of miui


                                Latest miui has no such bugs........



                                Now, I am going to help you how to resolve this issue..... Well keep your phone charged above 75 % (recommended as usual)

                                Use Windows 7 pc only.... Works smooth with that no compatibility issue and nothing more to dig in there



                                First of all download MI Flash tool, link below

                                http://bigota.d.miui.com/tools/MiPhone20151028.exe


                                Then, fastboot rom

                                For Redmi 1s - http://update.miui.com/updates/v1/fullromdownload.php?d=armani_global&b=F&r=global&n=

                                Extract the file..... Use 7 zip(free and supports all files)


                                Now Install MI pc suite

                                After, installation open it as administrator,(although itself opens in that mode)

                                Then, switch off the phone....


                                Press power and volume down button together to reach Fastboot mode you can see a MI bunny sitting and trying to fix his robot

                                Then, plug in the phone....


                                Then, click on refresh icon on MI Pc suite... You will be able to see your phone listed...

                                Near to it you can see that its asking for the files


                                Browse there and select the folder of extracted files

                                The final extracted folder will be in the name of something as,

                                armani_global_images_...............


                                Then at bottom of MI pc suite select Flash all


                                and then click start

                                (Do not disturb or disconnect the phone during this process otherwise your phone might be bricked or even dead)

                                Your phone will be flashed completely.... in 120-132 sec



                                Then, the phone will automatically restart.....



                                Here you go, your phone is all ready to play in

                                  Yes, the led enlightens up continuously green even after the full charge, it's so that you get the idea that power source is intact....


                                  You will have to continuously check for, "Is it fully charged".....


                                  No, phone (except Lenovo zuk z1 in midrange) stops charging.....


                                  The charge is continuously fed by the charger to screen through battery....


                                  But in Lenovo zuk z1, when the charging is complete the current is passed to screen directly hence increases battery life........
