upgrade to MIUI 7 its only ready china version right now, it doesn't include google apps i.e playstore, google maps, google contact, etc.

To all guys suffering from issues.....
Like charging taking a whole lot of time...
So, First of all change the charger... I changed the charger and guess what... It charging so smoothly....
For further help, Contact me by whatsapp only at 9045572289.... Well guys right now using, Mokee rom based on marshmallow..
Getting great battery life
Well, surprisingly front cam quality enhanced in this rom as it now takes 1 MB pics approx. Whereas rear cam quality detoriated as its now taking only 1.5 MB pics....
And yes for hidden files, .... Go to file explorer
Drag a single finger from top to bottom at main page of file explorer... You will be asked for hidden folder....
Well, guys I am just loving mine redmi 1s...
Although, mokee rom is not developed properly as it makes mine phone to restart at specific wifi zones... Whereas works fine with mine friends wifi source....
So, guys any help... Talk to me..

even my phone Redmi 1S has battery issues, runs out very fast, if using 3G then it would last not more than 4 hrs. hence i went to the service station to get it fixed, when I got my mobile, how the battery was enhanced was all the apps got locked and were not able to use internet, I could not access internet at all neither whatsapp nor google was working. I had to reboot my mobile again to restore factory setting. and ended up buying a power bank to deal with the issue.

Yes Its very true. The battery gets exhausted very fast. While using whats-app or Video, it will not even last for 3 Hrs. Very poor battery life..

my phone restarts again and again also i can\'t access internet even. it gets hanged and then it restarts whenever i try to use internet. that is horrible.... could you suggest any solutions please! (Pakistan)

I've used this phone for a little over a year, and I found that the battery life was terrible. Sometimes my phone would severely lag, and it would occasionally crash when certain apps (like games and browsing the internet) would open. Overall, I would rate it a 2.5/10. I do not recommend for anyone to purchase this phone unless you are at an extremely large budget. In spite of its constant lag and poor battery life issues, it is extremely worth its price.

Upgrade to MIUI 7.2.4.0 china stable has already from OTA it based on android 4.4.4 kitkat, it brings more smooth, less memory usage, and reduce hot-warm area at back

low light camera is better than my friend's Iphone. Redmi 1s is a beast. :D
