i have seen upto 3mbps speed in wifi and 1.1mbps in network. i hope this helps every one who wants to know the speed of redmi 1s in browsing my provider in bsnl south

x hater!, 22 Oct 2014Yes blame the service provider for WiFi issues in the phone... moreencoded location hkt{ so u r the one xperia guy :) :) lol nobody have wifi issue in their phone including me... everyone enjoying their redmi 1s and atlast u r the only one who crying here by seeing popularity of xiaomi :)

Hi Guys, I updated Redmi1s with latest 45 version. After that update phone gets into hung state and phone starts heating (at the back side of phone , down to led flash starts to heat)and then reboots.
Is any one facing this issue?
Any workaround or fix available so far?

I have recently bought a Sony Xperia sp so after a day of use I know that I have made a huge mistake.but today saw xiaomi redmi and god what a performance anddd camera was hell better then this 21 k Sony crap.today I am regretting my decision more when I heard the price of xiaomi is just around 6 or 7 k.. So i guess this will teach Sony and Samsung a lesson they won't forget.

well,using ths device for the past 1 week. Updated to v45 and rooted on the day I bought. Then I brought down the processor speed to 1.19Ghz and there goes off the heating and battery drain issues. Now its working like a charm without any problems. The rom is quite friendly but consumes a lot of RAM, only leaving around 300 MB to use for other apps. Also feeling a lil tough to use in the night, as the navigation buttons are not back lit. Otherwise this phone is good. But I wont complain this for the small cons. :) Totally happy with the purchase for 6K.
