Useless phone, on paper nice hardware, look goods on specification but app crash continuesly and sometimes randomly reboot. One thing is sure, the phone is very fast on battery consumption, no phone on market can beat it and heat like super Nova, u can cook food, boil water and during winter, you does not need wearing any sweater. On normal usage my battery drain 30% per hour on 2g net use.

For root our redmi 1S is very simple:
1. Download official root zip file from here:http://www.xiaomigeek.net/2014/09/file-mentahan-buat-redmi-1s.html (sorry the web is in Indonesian)
2. you will get "Update.zip" about 1.7Mb file size, than put it in internal storage directly (do not put inside folder)
3. Run "Updater" app in your Redmi 1S Phone
4. Touch the menu softkey then select "Reboot to Recovery mode"
5. Your phone will restart in recovery mode.
6. Select "yes" for update from "Update.zip" file
7. Wait till finish, then reboot the phone
8. after the phone booted completely, run "Security" app, select "Permission", then enable "Root permission". in the "manage root permissions" give "no-firlls" app for root access.
9. Done. try run no-firlls
10. DWYOR
11. Have a nice day!
note: don't worry to root your phone! Xiaomi still give warranty for redmi 1s rooted phone.

How to root the phone. I install no frills CPU but it demands to root ur pH first. How it can be done. In permission there is option for root of our apps but it not works. Pls help

set max freq @ 1300
set min freq @ 300
install greenify
thats it,all heating problems gone & longer battery life assured
remember charge from 10-20% to full charge for longer battery life

If you have a problem with xiaomi regarding the heat issue, i found something that will help you regarding this issue. try to upgrade or reflash your xiaomi 1s with cm11 rom, download the latest rom of CM11 for 1s and flash it with TWRP. now im using 1s with cynogenmod 11 and i appreciate what was done of cm developer. but one thing i wanted them to fix.the storage which will be able to swap memory to internal memory. is any one have an idea regarding this matter? thank you.

loving the gaming experience in this device now using the latest rom 43.0 and also under clock it to 1.3ghz. playing blood and glory (nr) great experience not a single hang or lag.. don't know why people crying about apps crashing didn't face any so far..also didn't face any heating issue..i got this phone in the 1st sale..its really wonderful worth the price because i was using sony M dual but won't be able to enjoy games because its memory issue..now feeling great..
