Got my first xiaomi phone from an online store.
First thing I like is the Packaging its very impressive! times 5 safer than iPhone/Samsung during shipment.
Sound is better than I expected.
Chipset and CPU great performance.
But one thing I don't like is the temperature its easily gets hot but not too hot..

I purchase redmi 1s before 4 days...
And i was shocked...i used hotspot and mb was heated within 15 min...
mb is not so good...
camera quality is good...bt it gives battey problm...
and one more thing in specification they told 1gb ram bt i thnk its only 256 ram because when we open 2-3 app at a tym mb is operate very slowly...

2)Can u guys play medium to heavy games smooth like Alphat 8,Dead trigger 2 Real racing n others

renosam, 09 Oct 2014mooke cusrom based from kitkat 4.4 and smother than miui 5did you tried that ram i'm using cyanogenmod and the phone working wonderfully i can actually play every games.. beautiful specification of the device.. only drawback in the cm rom is the music sound in the speaker volume is really low..so do tell me how's the sound quality in that rom..thanks in advance..

This is best phone ever. If anyone has heating issue update to latest firmware.
Asphalt 8 working smoothly in medium graphics.Temple run and other running games works smooth in high graphics.
No heating issues for me.It warms up little when playing games which is normal.
If processor is powerful it heats up. Check high end phones like S4,S5,Z1,Z2,Lg G2 etc.
Battery stays of a whole day without problems.If you are using for gaming then need to charge more.

Redmi 1s honest review after using for nearly 30 days and updated to latest miui v43
GOOD THINGS

1. HARDWARE - qualcomm snapdragon 400 u cant even imagine such a great chipset at an utterly cheap price
2. CAMERA - it is just awesome
AVERAGE THINGS
------------------
1. DISPLAY - it is average, brightness is good, colors are natural, viewing angles are good,but display is very highly reflectively(when u watch any video then ur face appears in that video, very annoying), sunlight visibility is poor
2. BATTERY - battery backup is average, im charging 2 times a day, im satisfied with it.
BAD THINGS

HEATING - after using the device just for checking mails, fb, watsapp for approximately 10 minutes the device tends to heat very hot, u cant hold the device
APP CRASH - apps r crashing frequently(u hv to restart to fix it), chrome, fb, quickpik such apps r crashing regularly which is annoying
LAG - this device every time lags, moving from one app to another there exists lag, graphics r lagging, keypad lags( when u type letters in keypad after some time they appear), sometimes com.android bla bla bla not responding like messages comming n mobile doesnt responds, at this time u will get angry to throw the mobile
GAMING - temple run 2 running smooth at lower graphics setting, in medium settings it is lagging, subway surfers lagging through out the game, asphalt 8 running with minor lag in lower graphics settings, in medium settings it is crashing, while playing games it is becoming very very hot
LOUD SPEAKER - it is neither louder nor clear, there exists crak crak sound while playing songs, its loudness is very very low(when u r in a croud or road u cant hear ring tone u will loose call), while watching any video u cant hear dialogs
Overall this device is not worth purchasing, it has great hardware and beautifull camera, but it is not usefull for day to day general usage.

Nice mobile and good camera and battery and
