syed ahad, 30 Aug 2014is it true we cant move our apps in sd card and what about ... moreSome of the apps are movable and some not and talking about the service center so you can check is anyone is nearby your area or in city on facebook page of mi india if you are from India and if from any other country so type mi (your country) on facebook search and visit there it is mentioned about all the service centers. In India there are currently 35 service center 5 open in past 15 days and increasing.

azeem, 30 Aug 2014will GSM 3g data works with this phone? as mentioned flipka... moreIn many of devices to reduce cost and power consumption only 1 sim has access to 3g network in dual sim and another one is 2g & one more thing most of the devices with dual sim had sim 1 as 3g and sim 2 as 2g if supported . There are very very less devices built which has dual sim and both sim slots supports 3g so don't think about that very much. The sim 1 is 3g and sim 2 is 2g in Redmi 1s.

will GSM 3g data works with this phone? as mentioned flipkart sim 1 (wcdma) for 3g data , sim 2(gsm) for 2g data am very confused whether gsm 3g data wroks or not ??

xiaomi is gaining my trust already as they are showing signs that they r in india for a long term....
3 service centres in mumbai already and they are setting up der research and development centre in banglore for der indian devices specially......
way to go xiaomi.....

if u r on a budget of under 8000 in india.
den no other device can match the performance of this phone.
1.6 ghz quad core is very adequate and cortex a7 shud hav been replaced with cortex a9 atleast.
but still dis is a very great value for money package overall.
and i hav been using MIUI custom roms since years and i like the looks and simplicity of it.
file manager and music player interface is better den what samsung and lg provides.
overall a great winner if xiaomi provides proper aftersales services

What about the service centre??there is no service centre in Uttar pardesh.and as the china phnes has the image it will definately requires service within 6 months.
