very good mobile for 6k.But poor service support by TVS Electronics totally waste. try with some other sevice centre or better not to go with this. During warranty they are telly rubbish reason and advice me to dispose the mobile

very poor after service.
so please don't take risk. i am shuttling to chennai and Villupuram for servicing my mobile. they are not responding to customers. please don't buy Xiaomi

They are not interested in servicing the mobile
They simply working towards closing the call by saying some uncoverable warranty issues.

i've rooted my Redmi 1s with CM12 android 5.1, after rooting now i'm facing the problem while capturing pictures through both rear and front camera, that suddenly high brightness and darkness appearing. So that i cant focus to an object or cant able to take a clear pic. I wish any brilliant head is there who works about it, Plz do help me...

Redmi 1s is a very cheap mobile with awesome features.... Performance of the Camera is very good... I compared redmi 1s mobile camera with Sony xperiA z as well as galaxy s3,redmi 1s camera is the best from those ... To say about the processor, quad core 1.6ghz..! None of the mobile has given these good processor with this price.. :-)

its awsm , batteryb performance is really unbealiveable,as well as the degisn.
its too fast to use any application and internet speed also increased....

Xiaomi redmi 1s would be very remarkable if using software from cyanogenmod ( cyanogenmod 11 , KitKat 4.4.4 ) , because MIUI make this phone very slow in performance and everyday usability . why not cooperate with cyanogenmod team ?
