plz help me guys,
i have bought redmi 1s phone about a week ago and i inserted 32gb memory card and through USB i connect it to the lap. when i was transferred songs from my lap to my phone after that when i open the folder in my phone it is not playing and some Chinese letters words are coming how can i transfer files from my lap to my phone????????????

sunil kutti , 03 Jan 2015Come v54, your heating issue won't be solved! I'm sure... Today I installed monkey rom on my redmi 1s. Now heat is not exceeding morr than 41° but battery drain is still same. The great advantage is getting more ram and all the apps are working without any problem. There is no lag at all. But the disadvantage is the camera app and music player. They are not not comparable with miui app.

got this phone for my wife. Performance is good. I wish XiaoMi provided English version of the PC softwre. I was surprised at how fluidly it played games like Riptide GP2. Just wish XiaoMi provided updates to a more current Android version like 4.4.4. The call clarity is superb. Wish the loudspeaker was better... it has a sort of crackling noise when music is played at full volume. Other than that, it is a great phone at a very reasonable price. Great going XiaoMi... wish you all the best in 2015.
And yes, I also got the MI PowerBank 10400 mAh type. It is great... it charges our phones and tablet fast with just one charge... Great for travel and power outages. I must say XiaoMi has impressed me with these remarkable products at very pocket friendly prices.

ALL Five fingers are not the same. I have got a wonderful piece. An excellent phone . I've been using it for the last two months with out any issues. I've even rooted the phone and installed back lit lights for the home indicators on the front screen.
I think you got a bad piece. Like you there are many other unfortunate guys who also got bad pieces. Likewise there are many like me who have got good pieces.
