every spec is working fine
but do not but this phone because it has nearly around 30 bugs
even now it is heating

For all people please flash redmi extreme ROM to get best performance out of this phone now my battery back up is minimum 1and 1/2 a day early never heat up multitasking is flowless best ROM ever also based on 4.4 KitKat and android 5.0 ui looks cool very good rom

If you want your redmi to become beast then you have to root it and install twrp then search redmi extreme ROM that is the best ROM for this phone till now. Yes the phone is very good as compared to its price for those persons who knows some thing about android customisation

hi i am using redmi since sep 9 this is my own experince with it . i am a light user.
1.battery last for two days full without or less internet usage (1 hour calling 30 minutes music 1 hour browsing without youtube i.e. reading news and chat in fb messenger per day). with more internet usage it lasts for one full day and vigorous usage leads to half day.(only 2g)
2.call quality is good but not loud enough for outdoor so using a headset (genius hs 200) so good in headset and loud speaker ,recording is nice without beeps.
3. music is loud enough and good in headset also no problem.
4. little difficult to use in single hand because of the size . i dont use any scratch guard or case . screen is not prone to scratches but heavily attracts finger prints.
5.no games so cant comment about it using only few apps which include map,shopping,fb messenger,dictionary,...
6.messaging is good with private messaging feature and swift key(very useful for prediction) reduce typing .
7.camera defined in one word AWESOME . it is simply great for pictures outdoor(HDR nice) and good for indoors. camera is definitely a level above the segment.
8 .have not updated to v45 so heating exists which annoys very much when browsing in chrome but in uc (image off) heat is drastically reduced to a minimum.hoping to update v45 to see how much it reduces heat then.while charging it is a supernova so avoid using it during charging.
9. display is so good,bright and clear for pictures and videos in indoor but at outdoor even at full brightness is not good but still visible enough to read.
10 Ram is very low on reboot it shows 350 mb but after normal using it is around 200 mb . multitasking more than 3 apps is not possible.
Verdict
I like it very much as it is a great value for money in the market now and few flaws are still there (not updated to v45) but they can be ignored or resolved and consider it's excellence in other features .i would definitely recommend it for light users.
