I just went through the comments.
1)Is it true that we cant really utilize the external memory card because almost all the apps and the media files are saved in the internal storage?
2) Quite few ppl having some browsing problems? What kind of browers are you using? Chrome? Safari?
3) Is there any big heating issue. Because I saw few comments about it.

I AM using Redmi2 handset but the Internet speed is too slow that I can't browsing any thing. I purchased this set by seeing the browsing speed of Redmi2. I never thought that this was too painful.

It has many bugs regardind the ui. This hangs at a time of multitasking. Even apps closed suddenly and ask us to send report. I bought it from flipkart. After 3 to 4 week of usage you will not get any notification of whatsapp
Hike and else and no update till now to fix those bugs and no lollipip update

I used this phone for about 1 month and now i am writing this review
Pros:
1.The price is quite reasonable for the features
2. Front cam is 2MP but its quite good.
3. Custamisation is super many themes in the new miui version.
4. Design is good.
5. HDR mode in camera is good.
6. The AGC Dragontrail glass which is scratch proof is good and cornering is gorilla 2 glass.
7. Looks are good and its handy also.
8. Gaming and sound is also good.
9. Battery backup is excellent.
10. Even while using 3G phone doesn't heat up as many other phone do.
11. MI kitkat version is very user friendly.
12. Gives good network range and call quality
13. Fast charging using the charger given by xiaomi.
Cons:
1.It says 1GB ram but it stucks some times.But still its better than many other phones with same config.
2. In multi-tasking if we click the home button it takes 3-5 secs to load the home.
3. Lack of earphones in the box.
4. Any application other than Whatsapp will need special permissions to show notifications. Or else you will have to open the apps and check for latest notifications.
5. Cam is 8MP but it doesn't seem like that.
6. Internal storage is quite low if we use huge games.
7. We cant move apps to sd card which is a big dis advantage and only 8GB internal.
8. If we use huge games in high graphics it hangs a bit but if we keep in low or med graphics its quite good.
9. No led lights for the home button and all.
Bottom Line: For this cost its a good phone and i recommend this to anyone who want a smartphone in this range
