Hi...
Good about Redmi 2
1. excellent battery back up
2. Fast charging
3. Good audio in speaker while playing media files.
4. otg support
5. you can stop any app from connecting to internet ( i am not talking about background restriction )
6. voice transmitted is crystal clear.
7. good screen resolution.
8. some people has complaint about screen shot but it is not so...there are three methods in Redmi 2..read manual.
8. whatsapp ..wechat...playstore works fine.
9. guest mode
10.notes of big size can be saved in a single file.
Not good about Redmi2
1. network reception about internet has problem. it does not stick to the selected mode.
2. Sound in earpiece is not good during call
3. you will miss notifications of whatsapp.
4.can't move apps to card...for example i uses wechat and the size of wechat has gone to 300 mb.
5. out of 1gb RAM only 200 mb is free available.
8. out of 8gb memory only 2.5 gb available

AnonD-395233, 13 May 2015Shortcut in drop downThanks and I remember in a forum that mentioned it can be snapshot via holding the down & power button and it did snapshot when I tried out but then days later I couldn't used that method anymore....wonder why.

yes this phone has so many flaws and some good things too. first of all 2g 3g 4g networks run very slow. if u r connected to wi fi then u wil not face this problem. secondly, screenshot short cut doesn't work on it. third flaw is, u can't open facebook, google playstore through sim card network. and the fourth one is, u can't move ur apps to memory card. u have to keep them in phone there is no other option.
on the other hand if we talk about +ve points, it has a good touch. colour saturation is good. games don't hang on it. and the best thing is battery backup. it never goes down like simple android phones. you just need to charge it once in the morning and then forget about charging till night...
if you r a true phone lover then this phone is not for u but if u have less use of phone and u want to get rid of charging phone again and again then its perfectly fine for you...
