i want to know how is 3G Signal reception on this device.In my area 3G signal reception is very poor.Can we dial *#*#4636#*#* and select radio band as WCDMA Only on Redmi 2.?

I receive the phone today .nd i face a big issue of internet network in the mobile.i trying 4 sim for network airtel bsnl reliance. tata but no sim find internet network. so brother this mobile is totaly money wasted don't buy this phone.you have many other options in 7 thousands.

There is the way to get notification from whatsapp after closing screen off.
1. Go to “Security” >>“Permission” >> “Auto-start Management” >> add auto-start apps(whatsapp or any othe you want)
2. To enable push notification in the status bar, go to “Settings” >> “Notifications” >> “Manage Notifications” >> Open WhatsApp >> “Show in Status Bar” (switch on)
3. Long-tap the Menu key to enter the recent apps back-end. Drag down the app icon to lock it, so it will not be cleared in the following clear-up operation.

whether xiaomi is certified by google as i read that xiaomi phns are not having google play services like play store etc.

4g is not at all working in phone, eventhough we have a good coverage in Bangalore. Its Perfectly working with lenovo a6000. 4g lovers please dont opt for Redmi 2
