The specs mentioned are fantastic for this price tag.Even Redmi 1s was fine. The only problem was overheating. Hope Xiomi has rectified the faults in this latter release, much to the joy of Redmi fans.It has close competitors like Asus Zenfone 5, Lenovo A6000 & Moto E 2nd gen.

Recently bought this redmi 2s. The phone becomes too overheated even just after 5 mins of conversation. I can not hold it on ear. Battery back up is also very poor. Battery drains like a rocket. I have used battery marathon profile, brightness 50%, wifi & data connection off with only a few apps installed. But nothing worked. Battery lasts for average 12 hrs maximum (after 2-3 calls daily without using camera, listening music or playing game). My advice not to buy it.
