20days back I purchased this mobile, 2days back it fall down from first floor on road thank God nothing happened to this mobile only tampered glass broken. I love this mobile..

We won't get latest android update on latest miui 7.
About the experiencing poor battery life, i rooted it and install greenify and my battery life now enhanced.

There are some minor bugs i've experience with the miui 7 on this phone.. when i try to change the lockscreen wallpaper from gallery, its not changing at all accept you change for both home and lockscreen option..
2nd is the keyboard.. i use the third party keyboard and already set it to default, when i kill the app management to clean ram, the keyboard was changed itself to the google keyboard.. i hope xiaomi fix this on future updates..

Not every body likes stock roms and MIUI roms have many fans. There are some features in MIUI rom that Moto G & E users can't even dream of. For example my Redmi 2 has 'app permissions' even though it is running KitKat.

Those who have lagging problem please try rooting your device as redmi 2 has only 1 gb of ram. Rooting your device won't void your warranty if you stick to MIUI ROM. You can unroot when OTA is available and root again. My redmi 2 is rooted and i have installed greenify, xposed, busybox , fonter , powernap, kernal auiditor and many other apps. Now my device is running smoothly.

The problem I face with this cell phone is that when somebody is making a call it will not ring but one indication will appear on the top.I don't understand how to make it ring.

Service is very very poor, better throw the phone away once you start having trouble which you will within a few months. They will find a way somehow not to give you warranty.

hell my redmi2 phone is getting switch off switch on again and again and battery heating very badly i had gone to its gallery 4 to 5 times with same issue but it is not solved yet. i am having this issue now also i dont like this service.if the problem is different than i can understand but of same issue that to 4 to 5 times i not thing this is good.So i say not to take redmi 2 phone.And i will see that xiomi company improve their services plzz..

1. It continued lag, open camera, exit, it was loading (just a sec...), checking running application, there were several apps restarting. Browsing via Chrome also sometimes stuck, and show not responding, when i exit, it loads too, (just a sec...')
2. Gmail was bug with MIUI, consumed till more than 200 MB.
3. When the phone is being charged, I use it while keep charging, it lag all over. Browsing lag, typing lag (frequently need type more than 2 times), anything became lag while keep charging. I have updated firmware weekly, from MIUI 6 to MIUI 7, they were also the same. Told this problem in MIUI forum, nothing help, the answer from someone was said, the problem will be fixed in next update. But until when?
My friend who still uses Redmi 2, till now he said to me, the all lag problems while keep charging still no solution.

(loading to homescreen). Browsing via Chrome, sometimes not responding, when exit, loading again and show 'just a sec...'
I would suggest sell Redmi 2 and buy Redmi Note 2 or Redmi Note 3 or other brand with 2 GB RAM or more.

Mi4 I guest is better, it has better processesor and has 3 GB RAM.
