Crap phone. Bought nine months back. Serviced 3 times. Display changed 2 times. Overheating.. Useless phone. Pls don't buy....

it's customer care services are worst. i have purchased redmi- 2 prime a month back and get a defective handset, problem in speaker voice breaking according to local customer care center. but still not pick-up my handset to replace it.

Red mi2 is toooo worst..I was cheated..i bought my phone only on 22nd october,i used it only for 10 days,after that i got a big problem..it does'nt booting,gets over heat..service center is not near to my place,so i requested for pick mi service through customer service number..but it s also toooo worst...i dint get any help from them..i used to call them daily regarding my problem,but everything waste...i dont know how do i claim my warranty..please any one help me,if i give my mobile directly to service center,will they return soon? or it takes long period to make repair my phone...please any one answer me,,

I bought Redmi 2 some two months earlier, it works well for first two weeks but is worst now. It hangs every now and then though it has 1gb RAM, company says. it is worth no value, totally useless. Company must should review its performance,

Do not purchase.....plzzz..yarr
I have also purchase redmi 2 but now I realized my choice is not good.phone touch detect a problem ,battery charging,also jack problem.if u gone to cs they tell u submit phone for 2to 5 days but if u submit they will written you after 1.5month.
I also face that problem

Hai i am posting this for all who have doubts to buy redmi 2S
I am using this mobile from 3months bought on August (I bought 2nd hand mobile in second hand mobile market in Hyderabad with no bill) for 5000/- at that time 2GB version not lunched. I choosen this mobile only for OTG connectivity and camera so after all my useage I found this pros and cons
Ups:-1)it's really (in my point of view) good looking mobile.especially whitecolour if you put transparent back case with front tempered glass then it will look gorgeous
2)Both sims support 3G&4G
4)touch is butter smooth I have used S3,S4,note2&,4S before I feel it's more responsive then othemobiles I've used
5)camera is the main thing that I excited about 2S after seeing the camera of 1s some times I thought is 1s camera is still better than 2S? No 1S is the best budget cam until 2s comes in action 1s images are more whitish when we compared with 2S! Yes it's true camera in 2sccan be compare with highend flagship devices with some manual settings! Overall camera is awesome and better then lenovo K3 note
6)there is one surprised feature in 2S that Idon't even know it will do that that is nothing more then speaker of 2S its really very loud some of my friends will get shock with that loud sound and troll me like its the real chaina mobile listening to music via speaker will be fun
7)it's size is very good for my hands I think it's tailored made for me
8)it's really quick charge mobile its charges little bit faster than normal Androids
9)the UI of the MI is unmatchablewith any UI that I know cyonge mode also suks in front of MI UI don't even ask about lenovo's vibe & Samsung touchwiz the features and operations of the 2s are really very use ful in day to day life
Downs:-
1)1st thing is front cam its not that much bad but not equal as K3 note & yu mobiles
2)camera performance in low light is not good enough
Especially while taking pictures with flash on the pictures comes yellowish (in this place 1S is better then2S)
3)battery back up is good you can expect full day with moderate use & playing 6&7 hours music with headset ) with low brightness but with full brightness continues WiFi using for 8hours then you have to charge it at evening arround 8:30
4)very low internal memory 8GB
5) the only thing I hate in this mobile is "APPS CAN'T INSTALL IN SD CARD" I would like to have lots of games and APPS in my mobile but its not possible please MI give an update for APPS to SD like lenovo K3( the only thing I love in it)
6)after playing games for an hour non stop battery drained to 60% and screen heated a little bit (not like xperias)
7)the screen brightness levels are very high that may help in outdoors but at night time you will get tears from you eyes even in maximum low brightness "night mode APPS are not working in this phone I don't know why?"
VERDICT:- according to my knowledge I thought this the best used mobile below 6000/- so I bought it. From 1st day to today I don't feel like I should have chosen any other xyz mobile " I am really very happy with my mobile just like I did with my note2 and I don't want to sell it again which I usually do!

I bought Xiaomi Redmi 2 from flipkart, and the item was delivered on 15th November 2015, Sunday. It worked well for two weeks, i have installed the apps, whatsapp, imo, olacabs, vlc and chrome. After two weeks, the battery is discharging completely within 3 hours... i thought, it was because of the applications and net connection, so i disabled the wifi connection all the day, and the situation was same.. i uninstalled all the apps, but no improvement. there is no option available for factory reset. i searched the net. and tried the same way, but i am not able to do the factory reset also... as a result, i can say, i lost 6000 rupees .... it is a worst handset. i always keeping the phone at home. not able to carry the phone anywhere.
