yes redmi 2 heating when u use net, but its normally samsung and Nokia also heating. but every other proframance is very good. what's app Facebook plays smoothly

I purchased redmi 2 just 4 days ago from flipcart and i faced a big problem . when i switch on my phone it become too hot just 10 Minutes even in standby mode and baterry drainage too fast .please anyone help me.

Axy, 02 Aug 2015Hello Guys...every phone has there own pros and cons so lea... more300MB RAM is enough for light to medium multitasking but switching between games in such memory is not possible.
Lenovo A6000 is suggested and a better alternative for Redmi 2 but Vibe UI is not as eye catching as MIUI also I have watched some video in comparison, both smartphone gets almost similar with a little bit of free RAM difference.
Indeed flashing a custom ROM like Pacman which is already available is a better option to get more free RAM.

2. Lack of official service support.
3. Just 8GB ROM and as I said its OS is memory hog, you only left with around 4GB available internal memory on first boot.

You need to install apps in external SD card and for this you need to root your phone. I suggest you to using foldermount in case of bulky games. Foldermount is free for 3 mounts.
