I would suggest Redmi 2 Prime back always.
I had been using this for since a year.
And therefore very less faults assumed.
As a customer am really satisfied with this phone.

Raja, 16 May 2016not any changes in lolipop os... i hv updated lolipop in re... moreVolte support is the main change in lollipop update which will be usefull once reliance jio is commercially launched,no other operator other than reliance jio have volte ,and there will be upgraded security with every android version update, other than these you can not differentiate android versions in miui.only interface changes you will see with miui version updates.
There's no difference in devices with same miui versions irrespective of android versions they have,miui 7 in kitkat will look same as the miui 7 in marshmallow,and even the miui features are same

Redmi 2 prime supports 4g/LTE of any network.but it doesnt support "VoLTE"(Voice Over LTE).
When u make a call on 4g Network,Phone automatically shifts to 3g/2g.
After Call is completed it shifts to 4g Network
