Sir I am faceing the same problem of Set gets heat without using any application in my set and the Battary Gets dry within 2 hours without using the mobile even a phone call. I had register for pickme service in Xiaomi Center on Oct-15-2015 but till today no response from the customer care and they had filed my name and address wrongly worst customer service.
Plz make some solution to my complaint.

It only heats up slightly during high end gaming... If your phone heat up extensively during normal use... Then replace it... It must be faulty

if Phone heating and battery dry no problem first update the latest version all problem has been removed it is true because same problem i hav so i update the latest version it hav no problem yet.

What a phone.. . Now 1 month over... No hang, fluid and sharp glass-touching display... Good battery... Good rear camera which takes wonderful photos in flasflash especiall in dark.. I am satisfied with the phone... I don't know how the complaints are made here... How can a fake phone get OTA updates... With Marsmello sheduled for the phone in the future... Guys don't hesitate like me as I was misled by comments here... But When I saw it again and again sold out on online sale I read comments there and dared to buy and now I am a a happy owner with a made in india stamp.. Any querry, te me if I could put some doubt off.

Please do not buy this garbage. As the phone works properly only for 3 to 4 months. Then its started heating, Battery drain in 5 hrs (from 100% to 0%), Motherboard, Processor Problem.
Xiaomi cheating customers by selling this garbage. Totally waste of money.

I think company has recruited agents for glorifying this product. Request everyone in gsm arena to tell your friends nit to buy this phone. Battery complaint and heating prblm in born characteristics of this phone and till now company cannot resolve it. Serviced phone work for 2 or 3 weeks and again showing this same complaint.

Dearest gsmArena,Xiaomi,and their followers and friends.With greatest respects,I want to report and inform that a famous notorious big chain store that even has a factory of refrerhing outdated garbage truckloads bought in China,by mischevious fraudulent tactics isdselling this product for Redmi Note2 that has very much superior qualities to this One!?Why!?Here,many do not know other languages and will be decieved very easyly!Otherwise if there were not any misintentions,there were not no need to sell this product and Note2 ,especially on LINE and Internet!!!Of course,buyers through out the world have rights to return the products in case they are other than what they are sold(Legally 45 days)not just3days,48 hours or utmost 7 days!!Here rights of buyers for testing in the place,compatibilities of products and obeying legal criteria being ignorintentionally!Though prevention crime justice has warned about the frauds++but!Thanks gsm to release this pre-caution.Sad that I don,t have factory e-mails.Hope to act.

Please do not buy this set. Battery drains very fast, phone heat even if it is not used. Submitted my phone in service center 4 times regarding this complaint. Still now not get repaired.many people are facing this problm. About 100 complaint registered in service center daily. Plse advice everybody. Do not get cheated. Do not believe in theses comments for mother sake.
