for xiaomi, if redmi 3 come to Indonesia i hope the screen of the phone use corning or dragontrail glass. we will still pay if the price a liitle expensive with corning or dragontrail. im waiting redmi 3 with protection like redmi 2. thanks..

Some were even asked to pay for 50-70% of the unit price still under warranty. Many were so upset that they posted in Xiaomi forum & other online medias. This is done by the authrorized SC which is also the distributor/importer of Xiaomi products. Too many complaints with the SC & warranty. Many people have not heard any news from the SC even after 45-60 days. I even read a case where a user has to bring a 6-day old Xiaomi Readmi Note 4G to the SC due to boot loop, and he was asked to pay 83% of the new unit price for board replacement by the associated SC pointed by Xiaomi. The amount of complaints are too many to be considered a mere incident. Based on those reports, I have finally given up hope to try Xiaomi. Perhaps I'd better stick with the major league where SC quality has been proven to be excellent.

AnonD-487564, 12 Jan 2016hope haven't issue about heat device againRedmi note 3g ,the only mobile of xiaomi without heating issue,rest all other models heats a lot and everybody suffering that heat because of specs.
Redmi note 3G ,having Mediatek Processor, which discontinued because of Patent issue with Mediatek/Ericsson.Honble Delhi High court stops the sale. All other snapdragon xiaomi models having heating issue due to lack of good patented technology,and lot of phones are dead due to bad hardware and service centres denaying the free service and asking for paid service.

I know for sure that once you break your Xiaomi glass, you'll probably also need to replace the LCD. In Redmi 2, the glass & the LCD is one inseparable unit (unlike Redmi 1s I heard), so you will need to replace the whole LCD & touch glass panel at the same time. I suspect Redmi 3 is also the same.
The cost of replacement is very expensive. I've got a friend who bought Mi Note for $145, and the cost of the LCD is $90. That is 63% of the whole unit. So, if Redmi 3 uses only normal glass, all I can say is "Be careful not to scratch or ruin it", or else it's better to buy a new one.

Specs are good but No need to wait,
1. You will not able to use 2 Sims at a time with memory card.
A.One Nano Sim + One memory card OR
B.One MicroSim+One NanoSim,NO MEMORYCARD.
2.Non Removable battery,during water spillage you cannot able to remove battery for saving circuit board/to avoid short circuit.
3.Non Removable battery , when battery life decreases you have to go to far service centre to replace IF AVAILABLE at that time with a high battery cost and servicing cost.
4.Heating issue.
5.Bad service.
