i wish every company do same thing like xiaomi. enough with crap marketing and advertising cost. so the products would be cheaper and cost effective.

Performance of moto x (300$).
Highly compact.
Beasty battery.
Full metal body.
Great camera.
Cost as much as an iPhone case.

Xiaomi one of the best Smartphone makers.

People told me that this phone has no backlight for capacitive touch buttons (menu, home, back). That's true, my question is can it get a software update which will let us in options to turn on that backlight for buttons or that is a problem which is hardware based?

Great phone in this price segment. Perfect combo of all features... But the camera is not good for the MP in Redmi 2. May be due to price certain qualities are compromised. But no doubt that it is best in the class...
