From my obrservation and comparison, I found Redmi 3s to be more performance-efficient than Redmi 3 Pro, eventhough only has Snapdragon 430 inside instead of Snapdragon 616 with 1.5Ghzx4, 1.2Ghzx4 processors. Mainly due to Marshmallow 6.0 software built-in, new X6 LTE Cat.5 advanced processor. Antutu benchmark also proves this as reading of Redmi 3s shows almost 40,000 while Redmi 3 Pro only shows 32,000 in antutu benchmark. As I see this it's worth to buy this 3S at same price as Redmi 3 but without fingerprint scanner although comes with Snapdragon 616 (as powerful as MTK6753)

Have been using this gadget (ROM 16Gb RAM 2Gb) since April, am most satisfied with it...and at that price (USD 188.50) you can't complain :-)

(-)battery its not lasting so long as if it is 4100 mAh , much less (like half less)
(-)fingerprint sensor - an extra feature that is not handy to use
(-)body is not so solid as it looks
