my redmi note 3 pro gets heated quickly as I play any simpler games like 29 card games. does anyone face this problem too?? is there any solution??

Is this a gaming phone? My older cousin's oppo r7 (which is a snapdragon 615) is doing great with some heavy games like vainglory,gangstar vegas,NOVA 3. Is this a gaming phone?
And I would like to know how much is the user available RAM on this phone
