Best device to get in this price range. I would choose the beautiful 4.7inch samsung a3 for its slimness if they sell it the same price as the redmi 3 pro. But sadly samsung sell the a3 double the price and half the specs of the redmi 3 pro. The same price range J2 and J5 are slow entry level devices.

Just bought this device. Been using it for 2 weeks and I have to say, this one is a great phone for the price!
-Software takes just a day or two to get used to, used stock Android before (AOSP).
-MIUI is not worse than regular Android. Can't say better though. But the features are practically great.
-Build quality is decent.
-Performance is great.
-Good battery life.
-Get hot when charging.
-Gaming won't heat up this device much. Only get warmer. Mostly play Spiderman Unlimited.
-Camera is decent in good lighting. Low light just don't expect much. But hey this one is a (around) $250 device!
For the short term, I feel satisfied with this buying. Hoping this one last long enough.

Question : can apps be installed on all 32 GB space that is available? Asking this since i have had issues with Xolo Q3000 which had a 16 GB storage but apps could be installed on 1 GB only.

1. If you buy Xiaomi you should buy an extra screen protector with minimum 9H hardness. Then install it on the phone. They are up to 10 USD
2. Buy smartphone with Gorilla Glass 3, or the better one Gorilla Glass 4.
