if you want 4g not lock, use last china stable miui. but there just english and chinese language

This is the best phone under $160. Epic battery life, quite fast processor, good ram and internal memory. The downside this phone still runs lollipop, and 720p res, And average GPU. But I still love this phone!

I'm so jealous with ppl that get good phone.. Idk why my redmi get hot or overheat easily..the normal temperature for my redmi is 41'C.. And my battery runs out quickly.. Even i cant play games longer than 10 mins or my redmi would get too hot!! Someone pls help me! What should I do?? I really love this phone.. Its my first phone tht i bought using my own money..

Hi.I want to buy Redmi3Pro with official Guarantee in Iran , Is it a good device ? any issues with it? I heared from 1 person that his device beaked after using OTG & want to charge , his device was dead , Is it true ? Any body have such problems or any issue with this device ? best regards

This looks like a Nigerian, lol. Anyway, to fix this just dial *#*#4636#*#*, then click phone 1 or phone 2 depending on which sim tray your sim is inserted. Then scroll down abit you'll see 'set preferred network type'. From there choose WCDMA only, that's all.
If you can't remember the code then you can go through settings - About phone - Internal memory. Tap the Internal memory for like 7 times simultaneously, then it will take you there. Cheers.

I charged for more than 3 hours fro... moreSometimes the charging time is need to consider your capacity of your socket/outlet.Let me make a example, like if you go to Japan, the charging speed is slower than Malaysia because their socket/outlet's capacity is bad than us so it need to take for a long time to charge to full charged.So let me make my conclusion,the time to fully charge a phone is based on the capacity of the outlet/socket not on the phone.But if you take a long time like 5++hours to fully charged and it is the battery problem.

HOW TO 4... morei have same broblem,but my mtn simcard is true configured and i change preferred network type to 3G prefer, but network symbol automaticly change to E {gsm}
Where I live is supported on 3G and other mobile devices symbol always on 3G, but my redmi 3 pro sometime 3G and then change to E automaticly.
it's not good,i can't download heavy size file.

I have been using this phone for a year now and it's damn good. I have used the HTC and S5, and this phone beats them hands down. No other phone in this form factor has a 4100 mAh battery!! I don't have to charge everyday now, either every other day or 3 days max. I wanted to change my provider over to Project Fi, but not even the Pixel has a 4000 mAh battery. The finger print sensor works fine, you just have to be in the same area to unlock. Compared to the S5, it is not even close. If it's MIUI vs TouchWiz, I'd take MIUI any day. It is less bloated and responsive, and rarely crashes...you know what I mean, when the whole UI is unresponsive and power button doesn't work, few minutes later the S5 reboots.

Just bought note3 Pro always one handed mode come on and out without touch any where. . very difficult to open any application. I trying to open any application one handed mode come... Very tired.

From what I understand that MIUI version affects battery life. I read most opinions here saying that battery life is monster. But what is the MIUI version of yours? Because from what I read from forum that MIUI 8 drain battery very fast. I just purchased Redmi 3 Pro with manufacture date July 2016, but the MIUI version is 8.0.2.0 (LAIMIDG), I haven't use yet because I am studying whether should I downgrade my MIUI version?
