I purchased this phone two week back for my wife. I feel its great and worthy for your money. 2-3 days battery, very handy metal design, fast fingerprint, good UI. I recommend this phone who looking for a budget smartphone.

Dr praveen, 24 Dec 2016One of the worst phone redmi have produced lottttssss of ha... moreI am having hanging problem, it's hanging any time the screen goes off, so I have reboot the phone when ever I have to use it, earlier I had charging problems, which automatically got fixed I have doubts Redmi injected some fix quitely I hope I get something similar soon any ways I have decided to buy another phone this is just not reliable

Fantastic Phone! Get the international version if you come from GER ;)
3-5 Days battery life, charged up in 2 hours!!
Great Camera for the price!
Great perfomance, Display imho very sharp
ok build quality, feels premium!
Very nice OS with MiUi 8 (malmidi, grobal stable)!
Very good community behind it, better than Apple..!

Phone camera is not up to mark, 8 megapixel of my earlier Gionee worked far better, in day light and in night
This phone just doesn't supports email functions well (IMAP/POP/EXCHANGE), keeps on showing error mass.
I want to return this phone, flip kart not allowing, I Googled and found many other with same email issue
This is worthless to me if I am not able to get my official email on phone
Seem like I am living in 90s again

the phone is perfect, slim, and works smoothly.
Excellent battery life, satisfactory camera, unique UI.
...but I am having problem with the camera ...the camera hangs anytime and displaying error until the phone is rebooted(seen some reviews about same problem) .... Any solution for this will be helpful
