Hi..i'm using this phone for almost 1 year..for me, all.the specs was very good except for gps..i always have difficulty when using waze as the gps took a long time to detect..always show "no gps.showing approximate location"..i have purchased some gps application but still same problem happen..anyone facing same issue? Can share how to fixed it?

* Bought on September 2016
* Even after 1 1/2 years one of the best option to buy at that price range (3gb ram/32gb rom/13mp Cam....)
* Rarely Lags restore to normal after restart.
* Great Battery life with normal usage lasts upto 2 days.
* The problem is you I cant find a reason to switch to new one since this is really god.

I buy this phone in 2016 December. I love this to its price. In short price this phone give you lots of things like
( Battery : this phone have a great battery life.If you like to play game this is best.
Performance : This phone have a better performance than other. You can use this phone so ruffly. Some how I drope this phone from bike and car but in some damage there is nothing happend to worry.
Camera: If you see the camera this is better than the other phone from this price.)
I am running using this phone but this phone never disappoint me. I am a pro gammer and I love this phone.
I think if you think to buy this phone you don't have to think again. You can buy this in one mind. If you are a student this is the best choice ever I think.

Been using this phone for almost a year and a half now and so far here are my overall thoughts.
As a phone with what it comes it is an absolute beast for its price.
Battery life is amazing, camera is also incredibly good for its price.
Speed of overall use is almost amazing; there are times in which it lags for a macro-second or so. But that happens only when i overload my ram with processes.
Lovely devs with constant updates on their forums (bug fixes, giveaways, trivial etc).
Can handle quite the hits. The phone has fell quite a few times from either half my height (1.83m/2) (No case or tempered class was on it) and hasn't had any major damage to the screen itself.
One of the best god damned scanners that comes with the phone. Has a document scanner (very handy for students of just work) and a business card scanner with allows you to turn business cards into contacts in a flash. (if you have good handwriting you can turn written names and phone numbers into contacts with just a single picture. Handy!)
Infrared with its mi remote. Hands down saved my life and skin when i lost my tv remote and had no AC remote. (Now i have my phone as a remote for both ya!)
Easy to remove apps ( even some build in apps )
Some bad thoughts of the phone.
At some point in time the was a battery issue HOWEVER! the battery issue was caused due to an update.
The frame of the phone is somewhat bendable and chippable. As i mentioned before; the phone has fell from my hand (and sometimes even launched!) as a result the plastic buffer has been chipped a bit. But after i filled it a bit to smooth it out it was fine. The main issue though is that the phone it self can bend if too much force is applied. Not enough to become a banana. But enough to have some clips of the phone loosen up. Still its not falling apart so that good!
A case is required for better grip. The grip on this phone with dry hands is as if am touching ice. Its slippery beyond belief sometimes. So a case or a pop socket might be recommended.
No menu, but a custom launcher can fix that. (which are very easy to install; and has the ram to support one)
NOTES:
The phone itself requires some tweaks in order to be ideal for the user. Personally i went immediately to developer mode in order to turn of some animations and tweak some of the settings to my liking.
The phone does not really have any bloatware and its quite easy to root. In fact the system itself has made it quite easy to do so. If you fail to do it; no issue, xiaomi's forums has lots of roms and updates you can use to try again and restore.
Get yours accessories online. They tend to be quite hard to find even for the newest models of xiaomi. (Plus they are cheaper)
For those that have issues with the battery life, auto restarting or the phone is being slow. Make sure you change some of your settings in developer mode and DON'T leave all your processes (google, whatsapp, viber etc) always open in the background. You can very easily close them all after use.

After miui 9 update this phone became worst full of bugs and glitches user experience became worst hangs alot don’t respond to touch when pressing power button turn on after 5 sec (appx) when mi will roll nxt update anybody knows ??

Just received the miui 9 stable update ,its amazing speed is improved and has lots of fixes but android is still 6.0.1 with april patch .

In my Redmi 3s prime I am facing Sim 1 call ended issue. After putting Airtel Idea and Vodafone sim into 1st slot calls get disconnected immidiately resulting call ended. But Surprisingly Reliance Jio sim works normally even Volte calls. Also, incoming and outgoing messaging works normally. Sim slot 2 is working fine. Anybody has faced this issue before?
Anyone has Solution?
