If anybody is using Redmi 4X in USA on either AT&T or T-Mobile, please tell me how your experience is like. It only has one band supported for each carrier. Not sure if this is a problem. How is your coverage/reception outdoors and indoors? I'd only buy if I can get reliable service. Please give me your thoughts, I'd greatly greatly appreciate it!

Finally normal detailed notifications without stupid two finger swipe down. Update fixed the most annoying thing (at least for me)

I bought Redmi 4x yesterday and it was great specs. camera is good I was hesitant to buy this phone because of the camera feedback that is not good but it was.

Xiaomi Redmi 4x have chance to get a Vulkan API support.
Phone to get a Vulkan API must have:
-Qualcomm Chipset(Exclusive)
-Phones must have Adreno 505,506,508,510,512,530,540 (Phones with Adreno 630 had already a Vulkan Support)
-Nougat and Oreo OS only
Maybe Soon Xiaomi may release a Vulkan API for Redmi 4x while Redmi note 4x had already release an Vulkan API.
What is Vulkan API?
Vulkan API must be the upgraded version on API over openGL Es based on analysis vulkan 1.0 performs better on gaming over the latest OpenGL ES 3.1 .On FPS(Frames Per Second) test Vulkan 1.0 Got an average of 60.1FPS while openGL ES 3.1 got only an average of 35.6FPS also Vulkan 1.0 performance is way advance over openGL ES 3.1 thats why qualcomm will remove openGL ES and change on Vulkan API for latest phones next year

Performance has been getting slow lately. It's normal for a budget phone. Hopefully xiaomi update the redmi 4x to Android 8.0

MA, 27 Mar 2018Go for 4x..You will win..If you need good camera avoid this phone. It is the worst 13mpx camera i have ever seen in my life. The same for front 5mpx camera. Xiaomi declared that both cameras have samsung sensor but i do not believe about that fact. Everything is good but cameras are terrible. Try to find old models like redmi 3s prime or go with samsung j5 2017 if you are looking for good cameras, if you not than redmi 4x is good choice.

Best Budget smartphone in 2017.......... its a beast in budget smartphones list even in 2018 too..... using it from last 9 months, still the same performance !! Astonishing. user from Bangladesh.
