Bought this phone only 3 months ago, it gets micro-scratches very easily.
Even if it has a gorilla glass, it's probably a very cheap version of it

Just bought 3GB RAM, 32 GB storage. What I can say, 4X really a great phone! Simple but get everything we need. With the price point you get everything + IR Blaster, finger print. Great battery vs consumption. With average usage, voice call, WiFi, 4G, the phone can be powered up to 3 days.
If put as standby mode, may be can reach up more than 4 days. I can't see any smart phone with these setup can stand longer time as Redmi 4X. No regret buying this phone, If not for primary phone, I would like to suggest anyone to have this phone as secondary/ backup even having an iphone 8.

Just download the rom, transfer it in your sd card, open updater and from updater, select "chose update package". Show the package and it'll update itself. Surprising enough, I also didn't get the OTA but when I checked, it's already there in there website. Weird!

I bought it today. The internal memory is not really 32 GB, but just 25.85GB. Will there be no problem if I upgrade to Nougat version?

I have xiaomi redmi 4x for a Day now. Everything is fine except that I'm not able to connect with chromecast. Phone doesn't see it. It only finds smart TV which belongs to my neighbours.
