I have this phone for about 3 weeks and I am happy with it. No heating up, no lags, good photos and a feature I love:the possibility of taking screeshots with a 3 finger swipe. The only problem I experienced is that the fingerprint scanner doesn't work al all, completely inactive, from the first day. But for what I paid, I don't mind, it"s my secondary phone after all. One question: I am using the photo compare tool of this site to compare its camera with other phones, to my eyes it seems that it can compete even with the flagship phones and even in low light it doesn't seem so bad as I read I other reviews, am I wrong? I wish gsmarena had included some low light sampes in their review.

Hi,
Any software update was released for this Redmi 4. Sometimes the screen is flickering while open the message box.

Why does it heating up while charging, but it doesnt while playing games for too long??

I have Xiaomi Redmi 4X and mine got 16GB internal memory, however there is a "Second Space" feature. this feature as what stated on my device, this will be like a second phone on the same device. So I noticed that the internal memory by default was partitioned. I don't want to use the Second Space Feature. Instead, I want the whole 16GB to be used. Is this possible? Thanks.

As the clock speed and no. Of cores increases the nanometer to be lesser to minimise the battery consumption. This phone has 28nm.
But the Redmi note 4 has 14nm in snapdragon 625 soc.
