Today is the 3rd day I'm owned the phone. A good spec at the small budget range, that is closer to the medium premium phones. All in all, I liked the phones, good battery life, good build design, no hang issues, camera at the average quality. Highly recommended.

Just got this phone two days ago. The 3GB version. It's a monster of the phone. If you want a budget phone that can do it all, get this one. I chose this one over 4 prime, because the mate black color is just beautiful, and I didn't mind the lower resolution. It doesn't get hot even when I push it to the limit. Max temp on battery that I got was 40°. It does take about 3 hours to charge. Everything is snappy, and smooth. Camera is not the best, and it's fine by me, because I didn't buy this phone for it's camera. But camera does launch fast. System uses around 1.5G ram, so I recommend 3G version at least. But maybe it's a little different with 2G version. I will post more info with time..

daphne , 12 Jun 2017how is the camera, performance? any overheating? The camera was absolutely great, but you can only change it's iso and brightness, nothing really special.. it also has the HDR function which is great. It would get a bit hot if you're using it while charging, i'd suggest not to using it while charging.

Like bloatware which takes up ur ram and hangs up ur phone which is really irritating. Secondly price is way too high. Finally missing sensors in midrangers. I dont know about xiaomi but motorola phones are way better at the same price or lesser.

The difference between Xiaomi and Samsung entry level devices is that Xiaomi maintains similar spec & performance / price ratio with its flagships so every device purchase is a real deal, while Samsung only cares about its flagships, its entry level devices are all joke despite the numerous variants. They're getting better with the midrangers, but the price point is on Xiaomi's flagships.
