I got the phone a week ago. I like the size, not too big. Price is good, performance is great, battery life is unbelievable, never have something like that before and I have tried lots of phones! Camera is average and sound from the speaker is thin and low quality although through headphones was acceptable. So in my opinion the weakest point is speaker.

got this phone easily on Indonesia for $170, camera wasn't really good, i guess due to lack of OIS. speaker only one side that work, any of you guys have this issue?

It's a nice phone for the price, as compared with Samsung phones. The camera sucks, the battery is the best part of this phone.
I like MIUI Rom so I bought this. I don't recommend this to people who aren't tech savvy since every once in a while I'm searching the web how to do this and that. Like enabling notifs, changing message app, installing fonts & GApps.
I don't play hd games, so no idea how it will perform. Use it mostly for web browsing & watching videos. I'll buy a point and shoot camera for pic taking bcoz I'm not satisfied with phone cams, even with LG V10.

Zavitar, 27 Apr 2017When does this phone gonna be released on the Philippines?I don't think it will be released. I bought mine from a seller in Shopee this January, Php8500, gold one. It's in China ROM so you'll have to install GApps yourself.

Guys, any ideas if and when it will be launched? There are rumours that since the Note 4 already has a 625 chipset, the Redmi 4 prime will not likely be launched in India,
