seriously guys, this phone is superb.
i bought this phone 2 weeks ago and so far very good performance.
Camera is above average, i mean not excelent just good, multitasking so smooth, speaker for music is average, the IPS 1080p quality is great and very colorful, everything os okay except the voice recording, output sound quality so bad, very bad. i dont know why Xiaomi doing this shit. considering the specification it's so ridiculous.

For all those who are waiting for the launch of this device in India - this device may not be launched in India. It shares same specs as redmi note 4 launched today. except screen size, everything is same.
Hence, it is logical to launch only one of 2. Redmi note 4 is an obvious choice after popularity of Redmi note 3 ( it may not be a successor in reality). And may be other siblings of Redmi 4 prime (Redmi 4&4a) may be launched in Q2,based on response to Redmi note 4.
Hence, only REDMI NOTE 4 in India ( not Redmi 4 prime)

In my country, there are no official R4P. All of them are sold by private distributor. I bought it from from that distributor. First it comes with distributor ROM. But it is great, it got official update thus I use non official ROM. I'm using MIUI Global 8.1.2.0 now. What lack from this phone is camera quality and it is hard to find suitable tempered glass that match to R4P curve.

After using for 1 month:
Pros
- Fantastic battery life (5days on light usage) and 24 hours for continuous heavy usage
- Screen clarity and viewing angles
- Finger print sensor (super fast)
- Look (Excellent)
- Camera under day light is awesome
- MIUI is good with numerous themes
- Multitasking is superb without any lag
- Memory is 25gb free (enough for a decent usage)
Cons
- Heavy (158 g ) compared to redmi 3s
- Slippery
- Camera under night time
- Loud speaker is only on one side (somtimes being blocked when played games)
- LTE band B5 is missing (not very concerned here in Germany)
- No screen guard like Corning glass
- Hybrid sim slot
- No headset in the package
- Customer service is poor for xiaomi
