If this comes with Snapdragon 625 on a 4100mAh battery, this phone will sell itself. I would definitely buy more than one if there is a 3GB/32GB International version soon.

yes. i agree with boss market. redmi 4 will be number one in mid or entry "IF" use snapdragon 625. everyone/xiaomi fans waiting xiaomi doing that. it can increase disposal and achieved a target xiaomi to defeat other brand. this is a chance xiaomi..

snapdragon 625 can make redmi 4 one of the best phone in mid entry level. but if that phone use helio p10 it feel old phone from chip. new phone with old chip never win the market. so the conclusion snapdragon 625 is better.

I agree with you that Redmi 4 should have 625. Redmi Note 4(Snapdragon variant) should have 14nm 660(?) if/when it is announced.

If Redmi 4 come with Snapdragon (I bet this), it will be the 625 or, if xiaomi decide to downgrade the line, with a 4xx chipset at 14nm.

The higher clocks among with better gpu will give overally a better user experience.

Seems very likely the Redmi 4 is going to have Android N 7.0 as the latest leaks suggest the Mi Note 2 is on Android 7.0 and the Redmi 4 is expected to be released just a little after the Mi Note 2 in September/October 2016.
This is pretty exciting as Google just announce Android N is going to get quarterly updates aka 7.1, 7.1.1 and 7.1.2; I just wonder how Xiaomi is going to implement these quarterly updates from Google on their 7.0 Android based phone models.
