My Redmi 4a was a disappointment as the actual storage capacity is 7gb and not 16gb as the product claims. Besides this within 2months of purchase the touch screen completely stopped working. The service center charged me for just checking the issue and declared it as out of warranty as they found some kind of water mark inside the phone, so they charged me for checking the phone. When asked about repair charges, the representative told me it would cost Rs.6500. I was shocked and told him that the phone's cost is Rs.6000 then how come part replacements can be morethan the cost of the product. He had no justification to it. I took his quotation in writing and I am following up with the company..
I also witnesses a large no.of complaints for Note 4 mobile. PLs be aware before buying this piece of crap.

My jio sim is showing emergency calls only/no service at my Redmi 4A.....what should I do plzzz help.... I activated the sim & used for 3 days without any problem.. But after that this problem has occured... My jio sim supports at other mobile... But not at my mobile.... And other's jio sim support at my mobile... I don't know What is happening with my mobile...

Other milder issue of this phone is bad battery uses for its size and the screen tap does not always work.

please do not buy MI 4A mobile phone
i have redmi mi 4a phone in this phone after just 4 months their navigation button stooped the working so i send them on service centre and service centre give me like this solution....
We have received handset Model XIAOMI REDMI 4A for after sales repairs . Your Inquiry no. is 9000048174. During our initial inspection of your Handset, it has been declared as LIQUID DAMAGE. We are attaching a photograph for your reference.
